The Trial of the Chicago 7, an excellent enactment of the 1968 Chicago police riots and subsequent attempt of the then recently elected Nixon's administration to charge selected civil rights activists and others on conspiracy of incitement to riot and crossing state lines.

Hmm,   that charge still sounds familiar but obviously does not apply to good ol' boys and their ilk.

Hardly. There are elite amateur sports.

For the purposes of this guidance the definition of an 'elite athlete' means a person who is:

an individual who derives a living from competing in a sport
a senior representative nominated by a relevant sporting body
a member of the senior training squad for a relevant sporting body, or
aged 16 or above and on an elite development pathway.

If the GAA are using the Elite line they should be forced to put all 32 teams in hotels from this weekend until they are out of the tournament. 6 weeks for the finalists, pay all players wages for that period. Treat it like a world cup, squads of 30 named 10 of backroom teams no outsiders in or out of camp. But they wouldn't pay for that.

And i'm not anti GAA but believe that's only way to be both safe and fair.

I'm fairly sure this isn't happening for the other elite games going on in the league of ireland or pro 14. Does this mean they aren't elite either?

I was agreeing with you. You seem angry though. We beat ourselves. If Morgan didn't have a rush of blood to the head we win the game. And yes. Kennedy was a very lucky boy to only get a yellow. Was a red all day long. No place for that nonsense

Any how hope Armagh make it up to Div 1, always had decent footballers and supporters, tonight was probably a bit of dirty diesel.

You maybe correct Kemosabe... 1 to 4 we are Division 4, Middling round the middle with a Divison 1 attack.

Gough absolutely rode Armagh there from what I saw.

Armagh have a discipline problem though, their tackling is really poor and Roscommon focused on their rash tackling but some of the frees Roscommon got were so so soft yet Oisin O'Neill regularly had three or four lads hanging out of him and had nothing given.

It was a penalty alright. I just think the big man went down easy. That said Kennedy shouldn't have been on to give it away

Should be more in it. Gave away a needless penalty. The big fella went down easily enough though

Next game very important. Last season we can back and went on a great run. Albeit we did have the winter break. It doesn't not look like we can turn it round. While I don't fully agree wirh Angelo I do think Lennon isn't up to the job at the moment

The biggest issue now is that you can honestly see the huns taking 12 points off us while Lennon is in charge. If that happens we lose the league. Slippy has his number and he has shown no signs of being able to turn it around. There's nothing pleasant about it but he should jump or get pushed right now before its too late

We may not be setting the world alight atm but we're still winning and I've no doubt the better performances are not far away. You're a disgrace if u call yourself a Celtic fan with the abuse you give the man in charge of the team u say u support.
Dunno how tomorrow's game will go but if we lose Lennon will get slaughtered and if we draw it'll be a bore and a roll of the eyes and if we win it'll just be a "ahh they're shite anyway" with no praise whatsoever to Lennon.

I'm not there to cheerlead the manager, the performances have been terrible thus far. We have played 13 significantly inferior teams so far this season and in the majority of those games we have been well underpar, we found ourselves dumped out of Europe by a team with a budget probably similar to Hibs and needing a last minute winner in Riga.

If Celtic lose on Sunday, Lennon will quite rightly be slaughtered, the warning signs have been there for some time now. We simply must win.

You point blank refuse to countenance any valid criticism of Lennon at all. Any criticism of him on this thread has been entirely valid but you seem to be too closely attached to him to comment on it objectively.

I wonder if it was Jock Fraser from Stirling who was in charge and returning the same performances and results would you be such a cheerleader for the manager?

So whats all the fuss about? Have many people died the last couple of weeks? What is an acceptable number of Deaths? Are we ever going to live life again? Is this all really worth it all these lock-downs/restrictions? Are we just going to live in this madness for the foreseeable future? What sort of life is this living in fear? I'd rather be dead!
