The goal - nothing clear even in the slow motion replays. No choice but to let it stand.

Nothing clear? The offside and push were clear and conclusive. Even the handball was.

We must be getting different footage in the states then so.

That angle shows the push more clearly, but was it shown during the game?

Over the line is impossible to tell unless you're side on or overhead.

Don't know what your man is on about with the keeper-defender thing with the offside. The ball was ahead of the keeper too.

Worst Utd team in my living memory only 6 points shy of one of the best Arsenal teams in a decade or more. Make it make sense.....

Gunnersaurus won't be happy.

Need to not get in the old-style November rut.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Look, some Arsenal fans don't even understand the offside law yet deign to venture opinions on such matters ;D
and it's obvious that Arsenal player had totally missed the ball, had tried to turn his failure  into something different after receiving some pressure in the back from a Newcastle defender. Most neutral pundits opined there was no foul, just mainly a question about whether the ball was over the end line or not. In real time the ref thought it was a fair goal and VAR found no valid reason to question that.

Surely he will get a retrospective ban for that forearm to Jorginho?

1. Whole of ball needs to be out. From angle on VAR, the bottom was out but inconclusive as to whether side of ball was overhanging the line.
2. If ball went backwards to Gordon = no offside. Also not sure from camera angles if Gabriel and Raya weren't juuuust playing Gordon onside at moment ball hit Joelinton
3. Those challenges in box....some given, some not, was pretty weak defending by Gabriel either way

HAVERTZ = RED
GUIMARAES = RED

Not as 100% sold on goal being disallowed as Arteta and Arsenal fans believe, both sides can prob feel hard done by....but fact Arsenal has so much ball and so few shots on target....who's fault is that.....

The PL need to start handing out lengthy - 3 and 4 match - touch line bans for managers who rant about refereeing and VAR decisions.

Managers don't want consistency. They just want every decision to go their way. Then this paranoia spreads throughout the team and the supporters. So shut them the f**k up.

——-

If as a team you're incapable of generating a clearcut chance over the course of a match, then don't hold referees accountable for your team losing a point.

Milltown Row2

Flicked over before the goal controversy, but Havertz's tackle was a yellow and no more, had it happened over on other side away from the subs bench then there'd be no complaints.

Newcastle ended up with 3 yellow cards for losing it with the ref.

The managers or clubs should dock their game fee for giving off to ref, or drop them from next game.

Whether a player feels aggrieved on a decision the reaction will only make it worse..

 Guimares could have seen red, but didn't.

Nothing conclusive from the pictures I've see from available angles show ball completely over line..

Not sure in the off side, especially after utds game earlier lol.

Pushing and shoving in the box, both at it, play on if that was the case.

These things even themselves out over the year..

Fair play to ref for not taking any shite
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

The likes of Arteta and Kompany were a bit more philosophical about VAR when talking about the Tottenham Liverpool match a few weeks ago.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Havertz tackle only a red if you get the ball and you play for Man Utd like Casemiro.

As MR says, these things even themselves out over the course of a season.
