Once anyone dares question integrity of the Board you can only expect one response.
This rule - 'bringing discredit on the Association' is a right good catch all that can be used to put manners on any club or individual who asks naughty questions.

Portumna won't be appealing
12 November 2006

The Portumna GAA club in county Galway will not be appealing the punishment meted out to them by the County Board following the recent controversial county final.

Portumna had one of their players and two of their selectors suspended by the Galway county board after an investigation into the game with Loughrea.

The Portumna club had a meeting on Friday night last to mull over their punishment and club chairman Martin Carty admitted that they felt "aggrieved" by the County Board's decisions.

However Portumna's club officers have chosen to let the matter rest once they release an official statement.
