GAA Discussion / Club challenge match
March 16, 2011, 06:59:44 PM
If anyone has any interest in a challenge match with a division 3 Tyrone club over the next 3 weekends, please drop me a PM. Preferably a club within 30-45 minutes traveling time from Omagh.

General discussion / Pocket camcorders
December 04, 2009, 01:30:34 PM
Good afternoon folks,

Does anyone have any useful information on the pocket camcorder? I am thinking of buying one and would be interested to know your opinions on what to look out for/avoid, prices, etc. I have heard that they are a great job but the zoom is very poor on most of them. Ideally I would not like to spend much more than £100, and it needs to capture footage in AVI or MPEG format.

Thanks in advance.

General discussion / Groin strain
November 18, 2009, 12:48:10 PM
I have been playing indoor soccer for the past couple of months and last week I felt a bit of pain in my groin while playing. As soon as I felt the pain I went into goals so that I wouldn't make it worse. Over the last few days I have noticed that the slight pain that I have has now moved over my hip. Is this normal for this type of injury?

I am just wondering if any of you have had this type of injury before and, if so, what is the best method of treating it?

Hello everyone - I've been lurking on the board for a few years now but have decided to post as I need some help.

I have a copy of a football match on a DVD. I need to transfer the match from the DVD on to a Camcorder tape, so that I can then transfer the match from the tape to my laptop. I will be using performance analysis software to analyse the match and have transfered games directly from the camcorder on to the laptop without any problems. However, the software does not allow me to simply put the DVD into the laptop and use it from there.

I have sought advice from an IT technician who told me I would need to play the DVD and attach a camcorder to the DVD player to capture the output - I tried this but it didn't work, though I'm not sure if I had the right leads.

Has anyone tried this before? Is there hardware I can buy which can do this for me?

All help much appreciated.
