The GAA at central and provisional level and the media (some good and some like the Late Late) have had events with more to follow.
However on 10th May (I think that is the date) the GAA have set this aside as a club day. I was wondering what everyone here was doing to celebrate this anniversary or what your clubs are going to do?

I don't think we have finalised what we are doing but we were hoping to have a fun day (bouncy castles etc.) and maybe an inter townland tournament for the grown-ups.  I'd be interested to hear what other clubs are planning.

Shouldn't we have a GAA Discussion Board 125 Day?

The chairman of a club in Dublin told me that they could not get insurance cover for having a bouncy castle at their childrens day last year.  I wonder has this now changed?

Any bouncy castle supplier should have their own insurance.....been down that road before.

Has the split occurred or has Cork Co Board set up its own organisation? :)

I'm not getting in the feckin bouncy castle with you.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

I'm up for it. What about the mods organising it? Somewhere central like Leitrim.

I know but apparently that's official policy.  Sometimes I think you're better off asking for forgiveness rather than permission!!

No idea what to do for this but I feel our club (as should as many clubs as possible) be doing something??? Any ideas past the obvious exhibition games etc?

Well spotted  :D

I know our club had no trouble with bouncy castles in past. Just make sure that they have their own insurance.

Yeah, we've been told the same and received it in offical correspondence.

Not covered under GAA insurance.
