Since the qualifiers started in 2001 here is the spread of performances, showing the number of counties in each category.

Multiple All-Ireland titles: 3 (Kerry 5, Dublin 4, Tyrone 3)
Single All-Ireland title: 4 (Galway, Armagh, Cork, Donegal)
Finalist, but no title: 3 (Meath, Mayo, Down)

Semi-finalist, but never made it to the final: 5 (Derry, Fermanagh, Wexford, Kildare, Tipperary)

Quarter-finalist, but never made it to the semi-final: 8 (Westmeath, Roscommon, Sligo, Laois, Monaghan, Limerick, Cavan, Clare)

Leaving those who never made it to a quarter-final: 10 (Waterford, Leitrim, Antrim, Longford, Louth, Carlow, Wicklow, Offaly, London, New York).

So...7 different winners, 10 different finalists, 15 different semi-finalists, 23 different quarter-finalists, 10 failed to get to a quarter-final, and one county never entered (Kilkenny).

Any surprises in all that?

Kerry F -  6713    H - Draw 3250 (estimate) Replay 2745.  Drop of c.500 for the replay.  Replay was on a Saturday evening at 5pm with no curtain-raiser.  The minor hurling county final that was curtain-raiser on the day of the drawn game featured two different clubs to those that contested the senior final.
