I think in the end it was costing money and time so the owner took it down. I think it was up for nearly 10 years at that stage so it was fair enough really.   

Seeing some of the childish wind ups being posted make you miss laois talk and the ability for them to be removed.

Clare are improving, and probable would have liked to face us to get a win over a 'bigger' team. They are upto Division 2 now. We be them easy in a double header with the hurlers a few years ago. I think we should win, but don't under estimate clare.

i'm sure with the tv agreements the GAA don't get a say. RTE have no other time that they can show it, because of SKY's game on Saturday and RTE's games on Sunday. The only way the game could be played at another time would be if RTE didn't show it. Blame RTE i'd say not the GAA for this one.

Its hugely disappointing the way the games are scheduled this Saturday.  Even changing the start times to half 1 and half 5 would have made a difference, and made it possible. I'm working on Sunday so couldn't go to the minor game anyway, but still its crazy to have 3 county teams out at 3 place's and 3 different times over 2 days.

Whats the story with relegation this year?
