When you establish the rules about how that chair can be filled, and then proceed to fill it in direct contravention of your own rules, then yes, it is.

Which "rules" exactly?

The ones that Lindsey Graham proudly announced could be turned against him if he went against him.

Take it up with him when there are 4 complete constitutionally appointed new liberal justices on the bench next year. He'll be out of a job, so he'll have plenty of time to chat with you.

If only.  In my 25 years here, the Democrats have never shown themselves to have the kind of "f**k you, you can't stop us, so we're doing it" approach that McConnell, and before him Gingrich, exemplify.

Don't you know about the bit in the constitution requiring candidates to be seen outside every day during the campaign, lest they forfeit their legitimacy J70?

Anyone ever figure out why Covid isn't growing exponentially in the US? Seems to be following a linear progression which goes against what is currently thought about the virus.

Not sure, but it's possible this might have something to do with it:

"Hospitals have instead been ordered to send all COVID-19 patient information to a central database in Washington DC.

This will have a range of likely knock-on effects. For starters, the new database will not be available to the public, prompting inevitable questions over the accuracy and transparency of data which will now be interpreted and shared by the White House"

Yes, but the fear of putting the x the last time was largely through being told they wouldn't be able to continue on as part of the EU.

With Biden PR like this, how can Trump not lose?

One thing that I found interesting at the time it happened was how quickly he was convicted and sentenced from the time of the crime.  It happened in August 2018 and I think he was sentenced in November of that year too.  Alot of speculation now as to what changed him, from steroids to those weight loss patches that he wore all the time.

I actually watched it last night and intended mentioning today here, without wanting to give too much away to those that haven't seen it yet but I found the last couple of minutes incredibly chilling.

Two other true crime documentaries that, in my opinion, warrant watching for their surrealness are The Staircase and The Jinx.

The Jinx is great. Mind boggling stuff.  Staircase is decent, but they dragged it on too long imo.
Evil Genius is my favourite recent true crime doc.  Truly bizarre.

Trump is the president - like him or loathe him.
He was voted in by the American people.

His policies on business and doing everything to keep the economy going/creating jobs are admirable (from the limited knowledge I have so bear in mind it is all IMHO).

His policies on nearly everything else including climate change/BLM etc etc are f**king disgraceful and should be roundly condemned.
Keeping the economy going

Trump has called off COVID relief negotiations. Tens of millions of Americans who have lost their jobs will receive no federal unemployment supplement without that relief. Americans in need will remain in need.
producer on msnbc Larry o donnell last word show surprising he has a  negative tweet about trump .

Unless what he tweeted is untrue, it doesn't really matter what his job is, does it?

So, is it untrue?
i haven't read the whole bill have you ? so I don't cherry pick one issue and Moan about it .
God only knows what Nancy wanted to put in it, but people should be looked after as much as possible and their local politicians should be doing everything to get them back to work and open up businesses ASAP .
Any comment on Hillary setting up the Russian hoax so as to distract from her emails. It was an idea from one of her foreign policy advisers. You couldn't make it up, doubt Kyle griffin will be tweeting about it .

;D ;D ;D ;D

This Whitehouse covid cluster is actually a brilliant strategy by Trump. Once he's lost the election and refused to leave office, who's going to be willing to go in and drag him out?

Were there equivalents to lockdown during the Spanish flu?  How long did it take for things to go back to normal back then?

Here's an interesting article on that in the US. Useful graphs showing what happened when restrictions were lifted early/late relative to other states.

They looked good yesterday. They were very poor against Everton and Newcastle.  May have a cup win in them, but can't see them with a real shot in the league.

I hope that isn't an attempt to come back to be as to whether a good president GIVEN his position on race? You will be back to me later (in the interests of debate and exercising your freedom of speech) on that no doubt?

I would have the gravest doubts about his mastery of economics and whether he deserves any credit in that regard. Hard to prove either way though

Trump is President. Nobody doubts that. He was elected via the current rules. Nobody doubts that. He was elected by a majority of the electorate or even those who voted. Nobody can doubt that. He is the President, properly in position under the rules but does not and did not have majority popular support. Not a complaint. Just a statement of fact

I take it you're missing a 'not' in the bolded part LC?
