Love that Wenger hit back, quite rightly. Being able to concentrate on the league next season might be a blessing in disguise.
Thursday night football.

Should send a reserve squad on Thursdays and Bould.
Might be their only route back into the Champions League.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Not really feasible.. English clubs have treated it with various amounts of contempt over the years but at the very least Arsenal will have to treat it semi seriously til Feb  and then see whether they need to prioritise it then in the New Year a bit like United this season. The Thurs/Sun slog isn't conducive to a good league campaign either..

Could never understand this with Champ League often Wednesday Saturday.  Big squad should be that argument redundant.

Exactly. Its a silly excuse. Possibly greater distances to travel but the argument doesn't stack up if you've a big squad. Spurs will do nothing at Wembley next year and well Liverpool are Liverpool. No reason Arsenal can't recover next season and compete if they keep Sanchez and build.

Taking Sanchez off with a couple minutes left in the final was Wengers way of letting him get a send off from supporters. He's gone.

Within hours of Arsene Wenger signing a 2 year contract extension he has got straight to work strengthening the squad by signing  Ive Notterdovhim from Spartak Timbuktu and Zumrandum Affrikkaner from Free Nelson Mandela United for £39.99 each.

Kolasinac is a big strong LB who was one of the best performers for Shalke. Great bit of business.

Because I'm aware of more than the EPL?

This move was on for months. The only reason it's free and not £20-25m (lad is only 23 to boot) is the player let his contract run down.

In the German League Team of Year too. He's well built and physical. Not a Wenger like signing. Bellerin looks to be off as well.

Bit stocky looking. Hopefully more Ivanovic than Andre Santos
