Angelo I am impressed you have no Tyrone players on there! I think this is a good team too. Maybe mcglynn I wouldn't have on it but rest good for me. Marc O'Shea possibly in for mcglynn. Though I am getting old so he may have retired earlier than I remember lol.

So to summarize SW transfers mentioned so far
Bellaghy to pg1
Randalstown to creggan
Antrim to creggan
Creggan to Cargin
Creggan to Antrim
Randalstown to cargin
Maybe the LD lads quit as they didn't get their transfer targets !

That's only among those clubs ;D To be fair there are a couple in there that are really due to circumstance. I think you could discount the Creggan to Cargin one anyway. I still think there's not that many. You'll always get some with politics etc.

When the election was called a hung Parliament was deemed most likely. The UK is polarised and a mess.
What would justify a Tory win by 40 seats ? I can't see anything that would.

In other news, what are the odds of the DUP losing all their seats in Belfast ?

There is a *slim* chance.

North Belfast will be reasonably close but I would still expect Dodds to get it and likewise with the East and Gavin Robinson. Pengelly you would hope is gone but I wouldn't be too sure until it actually happens.

They might if referees start thinking they are being conned an awful lot with certain players rarely on their feet!

It's like Kilcoo are the peoples favourites here. As a neutral having seen them a few times I find it very hard to be a fan so would be hoping for a Glenties win. (Though wouldn't lose any sleep either way).

I think Glenties will shade it but wouldn't be surprised if Kilcoo won either. Close game to call. Goals have won games for Kilcoo thus far so Glenties will need to cut that out.

Lovren playing too many games. Also taa while superb going forward can be vulnerable defensively. Did he not miss a good bit of the season last year? (Or was that the season before?)

Dungannon really on the up. Playing week in week out against good opposition up is what is helping them. Expect them in Antrim division one soon enough.

Certainly doing well. Opened their own grounds a couple of years ago, and had a Feile team that won a Division 2 Cup a few years ago too. They also reached the final of the Ulster Club MHC tournament at Ballinascreen having won the shield title earlier this year. A very passionate & dedicated bunch within Eoghain Ruadh, they take teams all over the place for games. Their dominance at youth level in Tyrone however is coming at a cost somewhat since they've won everything in sight the last few years in the county with only a few teams operating with several of them fledgling and getting footholds where hurling was rarely if ever seen before, but that is not Eoghain Ruadh's problem to deal with, that's for the county hurling committee. Geography definitely an advantage for them and Naomh Colmcille, whom both compete in the Antrim leagues and don't have to travel too far to get competitive games against the strongest sides in Ulster. Further west in Tyrone, it's more difficult to be able to do this although Omagh have been putting efforts in at the younger levels in both hurling & camogie. At present the biggest barrier is getting club teams fielded beyond Under 14 levels.

Getting to division one in Antrim would be a big thing for them and I definitely think it is on the horizon. Yep it will be hard to get the standards up everywhere but at least there is an avenue for teams to do it now with the Antrim league becoming a bit more of an Ulster league. Carryduff and Bredagh benefitting greatly too.

Anyway, back to the thread...

Lol hes been trolling Eamon under a few names for a while now.
He gets banned but then gets restless, comes back on and
behaves for a while but then inevitably zeros in on Eamon again. Rather hilariously he brings up stuff on Eamon that they fell out under his old username before his current user was even on the board. Its entertaining for a while as Eamon needs a wee bit of a dressing down but after a while it just becomes silly.

Milltownrow2 used to get this on the Antrim board quite regularly too. Some people have little to be at.

Probably because you reap what you sow, these guys hiding behind usernames feel they can say what the want, no matter how abhorrent without reproach.

Everyone knows who mr is and he doesn't hide it though so it is only the other side are anonymous there...

Was one of the things not that the stands weren't safe too? Looking at the pictures of the pitch it would take a lot of work to get back into shape but I am sure there are boys about who could sort it. It would take a good while though.

For all the crowds Antrim ever get corrigan would do for now. It's only if we ever get a home championship game it becomes an issue.

The NHS is crumbling but it will take quite a few years yet if anything happens with sales / privatisation. I sadly expect the tories to win by a decent majority  :(

I see "loyalists" having heated meetings now. There are rabble intent on rousing things up here though I guess that gets them voting. Look at the predicament we're in... what do we do... sure we'll vote for the party that put us here.

Yeah surely it's the wages. I suspect that less successful counties would have less dropoff to sports like soccer.
