I couldn't find the result of the 2020 championship. The first game was a draw. Was it shared because of Covid?
Which years were u17?
Quote from: NotedObserver on March 04, 2024, 02:44:16 AMAttacking play on the whole has a bit to go yet. It was good to see Oguz running at people today although it didn't always work out he's got the size and speed to cause problems. Conn can still take too much out of it at times
Thought Ben Cullen done well today but Niall Devlin had his hands full on paudie Clifford and couldn't really get near him
Quote from: tiempo on February 21, 2024, 11:18:01 AMQuote from: tyrone86 on February 20, 2024, 04:59:00 PMAlternative venues aren't an option as health and safety has moved on from the early 2000s. There were more in attendance in Healy Park for both games than MUDC or FODC would allow as the capacity for Dungannon/ Carrickmore/ Coalisland/ Pomeroy now and then you're into the issue of u16s needing tickets. McKenna Cup games on tour might be more realistic.
Out of interest, what was the attendance for the games against Roscommon and Galway? 8,000?
Healy Park capacity is what 18,000?
Would a 10,000 capacity venue packed not be far better than half empty soulless alternative
If you put those games on in Cmore, Dungannon, etc there would likely be an attendance uplift, due to novelty alone, maybe the game would need to be ticketed just to be on the safe side
And logistics in and around those grounds would be an issue, but not beyond the wit of man
Bit of a joke Dublin won't play games at Parnell Park, I'm sure plenty of Dubs feel the same

So in real terms a Tyrone club affiliated with one association receives just over £9k euro, a club with two, twice that etc.
What would the breakdown of that be?
47 Football clubs, 10 Hurling clubs, 8 Camogie clubs and 43 Ladies football?
So Carrickmore for example are entitled to 4 x 9k = 36k?
out of interest whats the make up of the 10 hurling clubs in the county?
Football and hurling aren't seperated as both fall under GAA.
E.g. Omagh would get 3 cheques - 1 for GAA (football/Hurling), 1 for Ladies Football and 1 for Camogie.
They would be separate if they are separate clubs, e.g St Colmcilles / Eire Og or Clarkes : Eoghan Rua.
Obviously, because they're seperate Clubs.
Eire Og get 2 cheques for GAA (football or Hurling) and Camogie.
Colmcilles get 2 cheques for GAA (football or Hurling) and Ladies Football.
Are there any examples of Hurling / football falling under the same club and missing out, e.g. Omagh, Fintona, Killyclogher?

Trillick/Dromore v ?
Couldn't work this out myself so checked Tyrone website who say it is Donaghmore
Quarter finals were played on 1st September and we haven't even moved on after 2 months. Farcical by the county board
Obviously Sludden looking after his own in this case...
I believe it's actually Dromore who are appealing the decision to award the game to Trillick - it's at the DRA in Dublin.
I am aware of that but surely they should be thrown out. Refusing to play penalties and then delay competition by 2 months, especially if as other posters suggest - previous offenders who done this were thrown out of their competition.

Yes Dromore refused to take penalties at the end of ET apparently, but they havent been kicked out of the competition unlike other teams who've done the same previously. Would they have any powerful connections in the county board ?

Aodhan Donaghy - Loughmacrory
Eoin McElholm - Loughmacrory
Tarlach Quinn - Moortown
Cormac Donnelly - Galbally
Lorcan McGarrity - Carrickmore
Conor McAneney - Glenelly
Tiernan Quinn - Coalisland
Anyone else?Quote from: the_daddy on November 20, 2023, 03:24:57 PMRonan Duffin, Ben Cullen and Conall Devlin have been mentioned as call-ups.
Would any of these call ups actually improve Tyrone anywhere? Can not see any of them making any impact.
I dont think so myself.
Eoin McElholm possibly.

It looks like it's only at the semi final stages.
No fixtures scheduled so far. Was the Trillick-Dromore Q-final game ever replayed? Imagine it was held back with Trillick's Championship run
Grade 2 championship finally getting their semi finals on Saturday and this Tuesday.
At this rate, the leagues will still be running in December.
Did the various appeals/hearings go in Trillicks favour?
Wouldn't have been 2 many minors on their panel. They would hardly hold back until after Ulster Club.
The Ulster club minor starts on the 9th December. Will Tyrone even have a representative?
Pretty sure this is still ongoing
A replay was ordered. Objection, counter objection. Trillick appealed to ulster council. Game was awarded to them. I heard its going to the DRA now
Is this competition still going on?
I thought the GAA were clamping down on these sort of tournaments, like the underage ones.
Would the obvious choice for the Tyrone representatives not be send the winners of the 2021 u15 championship rather than a less than full strength team that wins this years tyrone MFC
