General discussion / Re: What TV to Buy
October 11, 2021, 10:35:06 AM
Bit of a random one and didn't know where to post but anyone having problems watching gaa club games on beo.sportlive on their TVs',it's a deadly service and can watch on my phone or tablet but when I try to on the Sony smart tv I have it just lags and stutters.

I just use the internet explorer app on the tv to watch it,would using chrome or some other browser help?? Maybe some setting that is preventing it from playing? Can't seem to get the screen mirroring working from my iPhone to the tv either, maybe it needs to be an Apple TV.

Is there such a thing as a lead you can get that you plug into the iPhone and into the tv that allows your phone screen to appear on your tv?? I could play the game on the phone and watch it on the tv thru the lead??

Sorry for such a random post of questions

What's the story with stout in Dublin at the weekend, asking for a friend 😉 will you be able to get a beer before the game in the usual places,in a beer garden or something??? Will the bars in croke park be open, had read somewhere online that they wouldn't be....

Tyrone / Re: Tyrone Club Football and Hurling

Are there only 7 starred games in div 2 and 9 starred games in div 1 hence why the reserve intermediate champ is being played Friday but senior league goes ahead? No more intermediate league then until Tyrone exit the champ? Will they squeeze the last starred senior league game in next Friday before the Ulster final? Maybe such answers are unknown ....

In and around 12.0 this few years but shipping this year,in terrible form which isn't what I need heading to ballyliffen next week lol for Donegal for few days before I get the length of ballyliffen on Tuesday, was gonna give the great northern in bundoran a spin, have holidayed in it since I was really young with parents but never played, think I might change that this week,it's around 30 euro so not bad value I guess

Played ardglass few weeks ago and playing the old course at ballyliffen next week, thought ardglass was class apart from the first 4/5 greens, weather was deadly and scenery etc stunning! We were playing in an open off the white tees so was very tough but a good test. Never played ballyliffen but heard both courses are brillant

Just a point on this new handicap system, the scores in the club im a member at this year have been mad,49 points stableford has been posted a few times, been a member there a while and rarely ever seen over 44/45 points until now, maybe everyone is getting better and I'm getting worse lol

A plumbing friend suggested changing the 7 bar temperature and pressure relief value just from what I told him over the phone,I haven't got to a hardware store yet to get one,he said he would come over and take a look at what the system is doing when I turn the switch for hot water and then change that valve too.

Pressurised system, house was a turnkey purchase and only two years old.only me and wife live there and hot water used to stay in the tank for days at the beginning, now it's a case of turning it on daily just to wash dishes.tank never seems to just warm and then knock of,it's always draining or filling, can hear it thru the cupboard door, hard to explain I guess when I don't really know what I'm talking about lol

Hot water issue!

I'm living in a house I bought two years ago, initially when we turned on the hot water for dishes/shower and turned it off after a few hours the water would store and stay hot in the tank for a few days, now when we turn the switch off the water seems to drain from the tank and goes down the drain under the outside tap,can see the steam coming off the hot water as it comes out the pipe. Also it seems to have to fill the tank each time with water if that makes sense as there is a fair bit of noise coming from the tank and pipes each time I use the hot water between pipes filling and draining.

Is this a stat problem/spark or a plumbing issue??

No few bags of coal/logs, tools and a work bench kinda area just for doing odd jobs, thinking a 10 foot x 10 foot shed or something along that line. I assume your question was a dig at my method lol??
