Given the unanimous aversion to paedophilia on this board and indeed by all right minded people,I am staggered by the opposition to predator hunters. It is callous but that is the whole point, to identify, and publicly shame those who would groom children and make the public aware of them.As long as it doesn't descend into violence, and the evidence they gather leads them to right nonce,I have not one ounce of sympathy for anyone they catch.Neither have I any faith in the conventional justice route.
So it's Lynch Law for you then?

Believe it or not Charlie but nearly 4 million non Unionist Irish people don't love Sinn Féin.

Surprise surprise. ....
Marylou is the only candidate to replace Gerry.
Another reason for me not to give them any preference in for thronging elections.

If you're a county player or have played county football or hurling you can pretty much get away with anything.

McCarron
Alan Smith
Davy Glennon
Darren Gleeson
Mark Hehir

If it was an ordinary Joe Soap, he'd have been locked up. What is interesting there is that it's pretty much confirmed Hehir only got the job because he was a GAA footballer and we have people arguing that these lads aren't being looked after well enough!
Disgraceful post.

On a point if order it's Article 40/3/3.
It was the 8th amendment to Bunreacht na hÉireann.

There is no proposed legislation just recommendations from a Dàil Committee.
Government has to decide firstly what they will put to the people - a proposal to simply delete Art 40/3/3 or some replacement Sub article.
If the former and it's passed then Government can legislate for whatever the Dàil passes.

Is Micky Martin expressing a deeply held personal view or has he read the tea leaves and wants FF on the popular side? Or just after the suburban middle class vote?
Poor Eugene Murphy not impressed anyway.

GAA Discussion / Re: Attendances

Total attendances are down 28% since 2001.
The GAA has really missed Galway.
Per match attendances are way down too.
Are those 90 Galway season ticket holders would make all the difference😆
I suspect the Connacht Council are praying feverishly that Mayowestros will reach the Connacht Final this year. 15k extra X  €35 .....
So far ye've  blamed the Qualifiers and Dublin dominance (plus no new teams breaking through).
There's also the fact that throwball has ruined the game as a spectacle.

That 1st past the post nonsense is always undemocratic unless you have only 2 candidates.
