Monaghan

  • Junior football champs = Cremartin
  • Intermediate final is between Carrickmacross and Corduff

Monaghan teams have a great record in the Ulster Junior Championship and Cremartin would be young talented team with a sprinkling of 5 or 6 lads that have played at minor or u-21 level for monaghan in past 5 years. Although question marks about their temperament. Will be contenders for the Ulster Junior title.

Carrickmacross / Corduff - Carrickmacross are raging hot favourites to win Monaghan IFC this year. Senior league winners and beaten SFC finalists 3 years ago and with 6 lads who have senior inter county experience - they should win this and would be very strong contenders for Ulster IFC too.
Corduff "won" last years Ulster JFC only to forgot they shouldn't field U-16's. They are a young team, full of heart and endeavour and to be applauded for doing so well after emerging from Junior. But this is a step too far for them at this stage and even if they did win, would be out of their depth in Ulster.

Fermanagh Intermediate final is this weekend I think. Kinawley v Irvinestown.

There is no junior championship in Fermanagh so I don't know if there is a team coopted into the Ulster championship.

Armagh junior champs have nothing to worry about!!

FermGael

As somebody has already stated Fermanagh will not have junior representative this year.
All teams competed at intermediate or senior level.

Does that mean the Donegal champions have a bye to the semi final??
Wanted.  Forwards to take frees.
Not fussy.  Any sort of ability will be considered

Armagh IFC final: Culloville 4-13 Tír na nÓg 1-09
Good to see Culloville win this, have lost a few finals over the last few years. Managed by John McEntee maybe we will see a John and Tony Senior and Intermediate double in Ulster?

Hope not ;)
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

O'Donnell's are Antrim JFC champs again after Sat night in Casement. Their manager says they won't make the same mistakes as last year when they had a few red cards..  http://t.co/pIhEwanb

ardtole

Surely if you win the JFC, you would be intermediate the following year. Are they just going to stay junior forever?
