By my reckoning, if Moy win the Intermediate championship the promotion play offs will be Beragh v DKB and Aghayaran v Pomeroy.
If Pomeroy win it will be Beragh v Moy* and Aghayaran v DKB.

Edit: if Pomeroy win, do Owen Rows get a play off with Moy as they finished level on points?

Exactly, will the Fianna's 39 year stay in Senior Football come to an end tomorrow?. Not sure they've been in this kind of pickle before in that time?

Moy and Owen Roes both finished on 18 pts but Moy won the head to head with a 1 point victory at home with 3 rounds to go, so it would be the Moy who would get the playoff place should they lose the Final.

Ruairi McHugh and Tiarnan Quinn supposedly injured for Coalisland.

Am I right in saying after this year the Fianna will have 5 managers in 5 years?

Any word of any changes to the Tyrone backroom team. Would love to see Peter Donnelly or paddy tally back in the fold. Surely tyrone should be aiming for people of this caliber.

Ciaran Meenagh's name is doing the rounds as an addition to the Senior set up.

Carmen in decline despite the heavy outlay on outside manager/coach, Omagh worse with an even bigger expenditure on manager and coach from outside.Must be a long time since Carmen surrendered so meekly.

Totally agree & unacceptable for a panel of that quality to surrender so meekly as you put it.. I don't think in the grand scheme of things Edendork are a 7/8 point better team than us but it was men against boys on Saturday. Its going to be hard now to keep boys at it for the Semi finals of the league. The big question the club has to answer in the off season is who will be appointed for next season, no doubt the rumour mill will be in full flow for every club come Novemeber.

Carrickmore, Omagh and Killyclogher be three teams on the look out for new management set ups. Three awful first round displays from them.

Why has he not played for the minors?

Loughmacory decided McElholm and Eoin Donaghy should focus only on Seniors. I believe Loughmacrory are the only club to have gone down this route of not letting players involved with their seniors not play their final year of Minor.

Fair play to the Lough but in the general context of things how can you rule any team out of being championship contenders on one performance. Carrickmore were missing 4-5 starters last night. The line panicked bring a clearly unfit Johnny on at ht and I'd didn't work at all

I would be interested to hear who the 4-5 missing starters are.

Is it time to revive those  Loughmcrory for the championship predictions again?

Is it time to rule Carrickmore out as genuine contenders to win it?

Fianna have Edendork on 27th August which will be a huge game if they don't pick up any points this weekend. I'd still be hugely surprised if they went down especially if they have the safety net of a play off.

Be nothing straight forward about a play off with Pomeroy for example. Generally speaking the Div2 team tends to win the Play Off game as they have more momentum from winning the majority of games over a season.

News from the hill:
Dooher and Logan another 3 year term with the Seniors.
Paul Devlin another 3 year term with the U20s.
Gerry Donnelly another 3 year term with the U17s.

Did Gerry Donnelly not resign at the end of last year? Are we that stuck for coaches he must have been asked to stay on. 

Donnelly wanted the U20 job but they gave Devlin another 3 years. At that point I believe Donnelly said he'd be willing to stay with U17s, at which point he got reinstated for the next 3 years.

Mark McCullagh and Michael Gallagher were interested in the Under 17 job. Current Under 16 manager Lorcan Martin was also interested. Very strange to just give another 3 years to a management team that resigned, surely it would have been open to all candidates and then an interview process?

Surprised McShane didn't getting some game time. I think our bench is quite poor in terms of game changers. Would have liked to have seen him get some time in prep for the 1/4 final

Looks to be nowhere near it. Be surprised if he plays any meaningful part from here on in.
