Best of luck to all and hope weather holds up (so important).

First year of new format so interesting to see how it goes.

Looking forward to a good weekend!

A weekend similar to what we've just had would put a fair dampner on it
It's a lot easier to sing karaoke than to sing opera

Milltown Row2

Friday to be dry  on the 5 day forecast but this place is so changeable

Question;
  We're hosting two teams, one camogie and the other in hurling, but get this, the other hosting team in the camogie group is Lavey, so the team staying with us, play us on Friday afternoon, then drive to Armagh for some sort of parade around the pitch!!, then back to us that night and then in the morning up to Lavey for the other two games.

That's some travelling and TBH, if I was their mentors I could see the bus breaking down on Friday evening only to be fixed for saturday morning!

Sun splitting the stones in the glorious Ards peninsula again this weekend, albeit a bit of rain on Saturday morning, but cleared up in the afternoon.

Did one of the Dublin super Clubs not do something similar, except they brought a team for the parade basically, and left the players stay away from it to rest up.

Never heard that one. Surely they would have been thrown out of the competition if that had happened. Almost sure parade was mandatory.

I'm sure I heard this. It might be one of those stories. I heard it about the time I heard another (maybe a rumour as well) about a Dublin team going off to Portugal or somewhere to 'prepare' for the Feile.

Never  ;)

An Antrim club stayed at a hotel and not with families of the club they were paired with, they won the competition at the grade they played in...

Team going away is true I believe. Happened the once. Crazy stuff altogether. The club fundraised hard for it  and it certainly raised a few eyebrows.

Getting ready to leave, have a hectic few days of refereeing, good luck to all the teams participating in the Feile
