any guys on here have any experience installing these systems, or have you had anything like this installed in your homes?
looking to get one installed in our new-build and looking for some info and advise on what we need and if possible, who to go to to get them installed?

It's not very taxing to do the connections. Probably be plenty of pictures with the installation manual.
Hiding the wires neatly is the biggest exercise of skill.
Many of these all in one packages are composed of cheap components, tinny speakers in a plastic box and and ugly sounding sub woofer.
The sub woofer in these systems take on the job to fill in a huge gap that is left by what the speakers can not deliver.

Do a bit of research into those systems that are available in your price range and make your best guess.

MS, i meant more along the lines of an integrated system that controls the heating, lighting, audio and video entertainment for individual rooms etc. in the house, usually using a touch screen system.
