Is Ballyhale v James Stephens on this weekend ??

laoisgaa

Ballyhale v James Stephens is Sunday October 26th in Nowlan Park. Think it's a 3.30 start

highking

They couldnt show the Ballagh-Charlestown Mayo county final as they wouldnt be able to find a flag bit of ground to perch the camera. Its like Beirut down in McHale Park with all the development. Real armageddan stuff....

Wish TG4 would switch off their sideline Mics, the Language and vile comments which were clearly picked up during todays coverage of Kildare football final , are unfit for broadcasting on a National Station. Then we wonder where the kids get it from

QuoteTG4 need to get rid of the Irish language for these games. It's just not fair. They should have the GAA games in English and the rest of their programmes in Irish.
That's nonsense, its an Irish language station, showing our national sport, can't see any reason to not have it in Irish
Every time you open your mouth you have this wonderful ability to continually confirm what I think.

Why should they want to do this?

Turning off the mics wont spare the poor children at the game hearing the big boys using naughty words.

Maybe the kids just think that there's a player on every team called Arfer Fuxaches?

for those who want to change the language of the commentry to attract more viewers from a particular tongue, by your logic if the games were shown with spanish or chinese commentary there would be more spanish / chinese viewers watching it.

SidelineKick

Thats only true if there are Spanish and Chinese people interested in GAA.  I dont watch every programme that is in english because its the language i speak!
