No he was referring to the Kerry divisional team, Mid Kerry, which wouldn't have been permitted in the Munster championship so no matter what happened Dr Crokes were representing Kerry at the next stage. The Kerry structure has been discussed at length in other threads. It's interesting enough reading.

If Mid Kerry had won then Kerry would have been represented by Rathmore.

When a divisional team wins the County Championship, the Club Championship winners (Rathmore beat Laune Rangers in that final last Sunday) are the county's representatives in Munster.

To be honest I like most Kerry people dont really care who represents Kerry .County comes first with only the urban clubs been able to sustain senior status on a long term basis . Allready  the rural clubs are falling back in terms of numbers

Think you should write "UCC (Kerry and some other places)" there. In the semi-final they fielded eight Kerry, six Cork and one Roscommon!  And that's with the Crokes' Johnny Buckley and Daithí Casey (who now have 2011 senior football championship medals in both Cork and Kerry) out of their team for obvious reasons, and indeed preparing to play against them.

Best of luck to that one Roscommon man Niall Daly on Sunday! he has already won Sigerson,Cork championship medals with UCC will be some achievement if he wins a Munster title.
The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

They really love their Munster hurling on TG4.  Horsing and walloping must make for good TV.  I don't see the attraction meself.

I have always felt that TG4 coverage of Connacht club games has been tokanistic to say the least. You will find that some of the best provincial club games are in Connacht.
