GAA Discussion / Great GAA Families
November 19, 2006, 08:35:33 PM
Was watching some Ulster club football today and was thinking that most successful clubs are usually built around one or two families.
Errigal - The Canavans
Ballinderry - McGuckins
Lavey - McGurks/ Downeys
can any one think of any others??

have to say the stewards at casement did an excellent job today in preventing the stewartstown team from getting into the stand and thus joining the brawl. There was only about 5 or 6 of them (at the gate) but they really did an excellent job. well done

Think Paul McGurk got an all star last year. He is in great form for his club and must be very close to a Tyrone call up again.
Mugsy played the final 5 mins against Kildress last week. He should be fit for the Clann game - I dont think it is on this weekend - think it is the following week.

Cookstown beat Kildress with a point to spare in the Rock. Game played in awful conditions with a Gael force wind blowing. Martin Murray, Ray Mulgrew and Paul McGurk outstanding for Cookstown.
