Wenger will have to sort out that home form next season.
The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

Meh! Good result for Arsenal in the long-term.

Eh? anyways Merson is sure Fabregas is on his way out.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Put the house on him staying then.

Really?? Looking like being caught for 3rd now...

I am too tired to construct meaningful discussion but Wenger is stubborn, the more games Arsenal loses the less belief he will retain in his philosophy. Currently it's my belief that Wenger's utopian ideals have strangled his vision, the summer will tell the story. Mr Wenger will be the gentleman to lead..

Few Arsenal fans seem to be turning on Wenger. Pressure for top 4 will be heating up with City/Liverpool improving.

For Arsenal to improve then ironically they need to stop being linked with players who are "promising" or "the next ***".

Out Fabregas, Bendtner, Clichy, Rosicky, Eboue, Almunia, Arshavin

In Buffon/Jaaskalinen, Haangeland, Ashley Young, Parker, Klose and keep Nasri.

Merson was sure what was going to win the 3.55 at Pontefract but unfortunately it didn't work out

Heard today Arsenal are signing Karim Benzema for £25m and are in a battle with Man. City Man. U and Chelsea for Leighton Baines

Alan Davies' podcast was interesting this week. He reminded us that Wenger has miraculously kept Arsenal in the top four for nearly 15 years consecutively now. Before Wenger's time, 3-4 years in a row in the top 4 was a golden period!

However, he is also aware that if Arsenal want to build on the 3 titles and few FA Cups in that period then it's time to abandon faith in some players.

I'd like to see the following go:

Denilson
Diaby
Rosicky
Bender
Squillachi
Eboue
Almunia
Arshavin

Unfortunately, the following may move on:

Nasri
Fabregas
Sagna
Van Persie.

Wenger has some job on his hands keeping the latter group. Moreso though, he's going to have to abandon his belief that the players he has nurtured from teenage can win the title. They've gone close but lack that final 5% needed. Can Arsene make that call?
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Would agree O'Neill, that Arsenal aren't that far away from where they need to be but could that 5% be found somewhere else .

Should Wenger replace Pat Rice for someone younger with fresh ideas rather than trying to hang on to him?

Can't see him leaving. He'll be made captain when Fabregas leaves.

What are your feelings about finishing 4th? i guess it depends on who you get in the draw.
