Big game against Wigan.  A good physical test for a young midfield who had an average age of just over 20 on Tuesday night.  Any thoughts on a starting midfield?  Do you perservere with the both Song and Denilson as defensive midfielders.  If so one from Walcott, Nasri and Arshavin will miss out as Fabregas is a certainty.

And to you O'Neill, was she early this year? Actually when was the last time the spuds even finished ahead of Arsenal?

ONeill

Sort of average timing. Last year was the earliest on record. 94/95 was the last time there wasn't one.

Tommy Tight Lips

great win today ;D.going by le tissier on sky sports, bentner wasnt great up front(no shock there) and adebayor and van persie made the difference coming on.a goal for walcott will also do his confidence the world of good.hopefully get past villareal,an early goal might bring them out and suit us down to the ground with our pace on counter attack.pity we dont have arshavin eligible for champions league,if we were to get through which i think we will he could have made the difference in a tight game against utd or porto.wenger still needs 3/4 players in the summer.definitely need a commanding player to play in beside cesc, denilson isnt good enough for a team hoping to challenge for all the top honours and no harm to you dinny but song is a very very poor player.he along with eboue need shipped out to a far off country.

I hope not but I going to beat this drum, I really see potential in Song, scored a good goal today as well and I can him having a big future at the Arsenal, give the kid time.  8)

Song has made a great improvement this year due to getting an extended run in the team. Was at the Man City game last week and Bendtner(AKA Rodney Trotter)  had another unbelievable miss. It was about 10 minutes to go so we had the game won but I swear, the whole stadium burst out laughing. It was as loud as if the team had scored. It was ridiculous. When I got home on Sunday evening I went through the recordings but it wasn t shown.

Song a very very poor player? You must be joking.

You don't make the African Cup of Nations best XI being a very poor player. It's no coincidence that Arsenal's unbeaten run and improved number of clean sheets has coincided with his spell in the side. His presence is essential to allowing Cesc and Arshavin to strut their stuff. He's doing the dirty work Arsenal have been missing since Flamini left.

And Senna went off with his knee injured, looked pretty bad and I'd imagine he's out for the game on Wednesday.
