The problem is there aren't enough fancy dans.

Playing Elneny and Xhaka is just asking for trouble, there is no need for both and it weakens Arsenal considerably. Add in the fact some players just aren't very good like Walcott, Gabriel etc and it's no wonder they're struggling.

Tottenham are the fancy dans . 15/15
the Arse are the hard workers. 4/15

Hectic

Yeah Spurs have a really good mix of players who are strong but can play - you look at their backbone with Alderweirald, Vertongen, Dembele, Ali, Kane - all top players technically but also all strong as an ox.  Walker, Rose, Wanyama, Son etc not too shabby either.

Sadly the Deja vu title of this thread looks like it is not even going to be relevant this season with the usual celebration of finishing top 4 looking less and less likely and celebrating St Totteringham day needing a real miracle.

Time to get the bi-plane out again.

Not at all. Arsenal fans have got what they wanted. All the reasons they wanted Wenger out, and they don't even need to get rid of him.

Sick of finishing fourth
Don't even care if we are mid-table for a couple of years
Don't want to qualify for Champions league just to get knocked out in the last 16

Done. Fam
Yep. It's all coming together for them.

St Totteringham's a non-runner for the first time since 1995.

What else happened that year?

Buckin Dubs are gonna bate us in the final.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

It's amazing how in a year that featured Super Klopp's first full season, Pep failing to mount a challenge because he got rid of his best keeper and brought in a donkey to replace him, Jose finding a (typically boring) way to not lose yet still Van Gaal it and end up 5th, Leicester betraying Ranieri, Big Sam flaming out in the national job because he's a corrupt fúcker and still finding time to drag a club out of relegation and Chelsea realizing that they aren't total shite, the biggest story of the year is hysterical Arsenal fans running through the streets of London as if someone's continually setting their pants on fire.

Arsenal Fan TV really got the golden goose this year. Set up for life.

Why does nobody point the finger at Steve Bould?  He's defensive coach isn;t he?
I have more respect for a man
that says what he means and
means what he says...

shh...listen don't you hear
I'm crying but they are silent tears
I'm crying on the inside so you can't see
all the pain running though me

I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.
