Dunno about perfect fit when they have Cazorla, Ramsey, Rosicky, Wilshire and how many other attacking type midfield players. A striker is what they needed.

He didn't change his mind, he just had no other options.
Ozil is a very good player but must carry the most ridiculously overpriced transfer fee since Carroll's to Liverpool and probably has a hyper salary to boot.
His price has tripled in a few years, but he 's about the same quality player as he was when he first went to RM from the Bundesliga.
