Probably deserved a draw from that game but the absence of full backs is killing the Arsenal. Won't qualify for UCL unless they win it...
Got what they deserved, apart from 15 minute period in the 2nd half Arsenal were poor today.

CorkMan

Major plus from that game was Ox-Chamberlains performance. He was our best player. Miles better than Walcott.

Watching him today he's a similar talent to Ravel Morrison but one 18 year old is given a chance to impress while the other (with in house problems) is held back.

The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

ONeill

Wilshere possibly out til next season.

Balls to that.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Were there not rumours around months ago that JW would be out for season at least and maybe lucky to play again?

Time for Wenger to go. So many of his buys not up to scratch and a complete refusal to fix problems that have been evident for years now.

Puckoon

How does dunne not get a second yellow there??

Aston Villa have imploded in this second half.

Sure did you must have to play for Ireland or be an ex spurs player to make the Villa team these days

More like it from the Arse in the 2nd half, Villa just couldn't live with Arsenal in the first 15 mins of that half, good response to the defensive shambles of the first.

Good to see Sagna back too..

Hopefully that will kick start the the rest of the season.

...............and ex-Man City!

ONeill

A really terrible performance in the first half. They cannot defend high or low. Fabianski's short releases were crippling the side. Hopefully Sagna's return will help to shore it up somehow.

For the first 20 minutes of the second half they finally started to use both wingers and pummelled Villa whose full backs are very limited. Rosicky finally realised he can enter the opponent's penalty box.

How poor was Henry when he came on? Couldn't do a thing right for the 4 minutes he waddled about.

The pressure on Wenger would have been immense had they lost that. A bit of a reprieve. They need to start where they left off this Wednesday away at Bolton.
