Great result for Arsenal especially after the energy exerted on Sunday. They're not the best Arsenal team I've seen but definitely showing great spirit.

If Wenger wants to sell the Russian he better stop playing him...

Do you think? I thought it was straight forward enough, good skill by Walcott, Clarke had an attempt at a pull back and then went for another go and pulled back across the chest. Hard to argue I thought.

I was thinking about these new-found qualities earlier Dinny. Losing Fabregas and Nasri seemed like a chronic change but the replacements, albeit of lesser ability, seem to have altered the mindset. Or is it down to a different philiosophy with the existing players? I know the main culprits of Almunia, Bender, Denilson and Eboue are gone but there's a steeliness we haven't witnessed since the Vieira days.

Well, I'm gonna get wired into him tonight to see if Collie McCullagh can score 1-9 in the 2012 AIF.

Walcott out with illness. Yossi Benny starts.

1-0 Gervinho. He doesn't half make a meal of easy chances, even when he scores.

It was too easy for Arsenal up to that equaliser.

First goal on BBC website:

Former Tottenham manager David Pleat at the Emirates Stadium on BBC Radio 5 live: "Gervinho certainly has the ability to unbalance defenders with his ability to go either way, but I am not so certain about his final ball."

1508: GOALFLASH Arsenal 1-0 Wolves (Gervinho)

Second goal:

Former Tottenham manager David Pleat at the Emirates Stadium on BBC Radio 5 live: "Thomas Vermaelen has been excellent at left-back, using all his experience as a centre-back to cover the men defending inside him."

1538: GOALFLASH Arsenal 1-1 Wolves (Steven Fletcher)

Pleat is a Pratt.
