A single death is a tragedy; a million deaths is a statistic

and fair play to those 9 that climed Kilimanjaro,

I'm conflicted by this, usually these stars are only in it for self promotion.

Maybe but I have heard Moyles on every morning asking for more and more people to call in... Even when he was away vernon Kay was doing his show and they were still raising money, I know he has a new show on four soon but who cares as long as he is also raising huge amounts of money.

Tony Baloney

The brought in enough money to buy a million mosquito nets so big deal if they get some publicity off the back of it. In this day and age it's a disgrace that so many die from a preventable disease like malaria.

Fair enough, I just can't stand that Fearne Cotton.

Exactly, the nine of them would raise a whole lot more than if we got nine together off the board to climb it...

Really?? Why?? I always liked Fearne, she seems really dead on, plus if you knew her you could get closer to Holly Willoughby.

I know I would have no chance with either...  :(

It's a great show tonight, and £29m already.  Must be some job counting all that money  ;)

The England football team was good.  Poor JT got slagged well about crying after the champions league final.  The other lads were in stitches at that stage  :D

Good question. Who would be the top nine posters here who people would pay money for. I'd say the OWC would pay a right bit to see Fearon climb it with a Norn Iron jumper on him.

Not a bad wee show so far.

Watched the celebs climbing the mountain last night. Fair play to them I say, whatever their reasonings.

Not great with big words so no surprise that I don't understand this one. In west Belfast it means 'profitable'.

Yes but sadly the West considers the world heavily over-populated as it is.  That's why western leaders quietly consider plage, drought, starvation in developling countries as population control and only pay lip service to alleviating it.

Watched them climbing the mountain last night - some job, I wouldnt like to take on with it.

Anyone watch the apprentice after it? Patsy Palmer is some bollocks.
