Tyrone / Re: Tyrone Club Football and Hurling

Just watching the games from Omagh.
Does not seem to be much evidence of face masks or social distancing by the spectators in the stand at Healy Park.
Tyrone GAA should catch themselves on.

Watching the Tyrone/Kerry game on TG4 and am wondering if there is a covered stand at this venue as a number of patrons seem to be watching from the comfort of their cars or under an umbrella?

If Joe Brolly had used the same colourful language as Tomas O'Se did on RTÉ tonight he would be sacked.  Will O'Se receive the same punishment?  But then one man is fro Derry whilst the other is from Kerry.

It will be interesting to see how the CCCC deals with incidents at end of game.
Probably when it involved Dublin and Kerry no penalties.

Game over now.  Why have tg4 the black card symbol on the screen still?

Because his 10 mins are not up yet.

Corafin have let themselves down big time.  Lost a lot of support after today.  No.15 for them is a bad child.

Disgraceful scenes at Croke Park at end of stoppage time.

Did Tyrone mentor Gavin Devlin get his 6 month suspension lifted as it would not expire until early March?
He initially got a 24 week suspension imposed from date of hearing.
Irish News reported as follows:-

TYRONE assistant-manager Gavin Devlin could miss the Dr McKenna Cup and the opening rounds of the Red Hand county's Division One campaign after he was suspended for 24 weeks following an incident which took place at a National U15 Academy Tournament match between Tyrone and Down on July 27.

The Ardboe native was charged with an alleged breach of Rule 7.2 (d): "Disruptive Conduct by a supporter (not causing the Premature Termination of a game)" and requested a hearing on Monday.

At the hearing his offence was deemed to be "proven" and the GAA's Central Competitions Control Committee imposed a 24-week ban which will run from the date of the hearing, not the date of his alleged offence.

Devlin has the option of appealing against the decision but if it stands he could be suspended until March 9 which would rule him out of Tyrone's defence of their Dr McKenna Cup title and the early stages of the National Football League – the 2020 fixtures have yet to be released but in 2019 five rounds had been played by March 3.

Why do the Ulster Council not bring one of the other five teams back in to play Monaghan?

Great to see Mickey Moran & Conelth Gilligan being rewarded for all their voluntary work within our great Association.  Like the players, all of it unpaid.  Well done!

Who is the CPA?
Who do they represent?
What mandate do they have?

Watched the match on BBC Streaming Service and I must say I enjoyed it considering the terrible conditions.
Found the analysist someone called Clarke most annoying and irritating to listen to.

What a pity RTE couldn't have got three panellists from counties other than those participating, rather than two-thirds of them being from Dublin or Kerry.  A missed opportunity.

Is the referee for the All-Ireland Finals appointed bt the CCCC or former Referee Brian Gavin (Irish Examiner columnist)?
