Alot has been said regarding last nites game, some i agree with and some not. As a neutral watching the game, I have no doubt that the ineptitude of the referee swung the game in Ardboes favour. Whilst Ardboe were always going to use cynicism to pull them themselves round, the referees inability to deal with it and even not consult with his linesman was an absolute disgrace. The whole crowd could see on the far side, that mcconville buried his elbow into the omagh mans face (who i believe has a broken nose and busted face and had to go off as a result) and yet the ref standing beside it - plays on - and the goal came, which in my view turned the game.
Omaghs miss to equalise it as well near the end, when the no.9 caught and laid off, was a bad bad one from 20yds..and probably wouldve taken the game to a replay at that stage

I dont think Ardboe will win the championship, unless they improve dramatically as Carmen,Dromore (if they beat Errigal) and KillyClogher will match them cynically & physically; whilst they hit some great scores they were dominated for long periods, omagh beat them hands down when football was being played last nite, they just couldnt go that extra mile to see the game out, which their probably going to have to do if they want to win a championship..

heres looking forward to todays game, if it matches last nites, we should be in for another good hour !!

I think the county teams's non playing panel members have been granted a licence to play this weekend.

Collie Holmes is definitely playing for the Harps on Friday night.

Id be surprised at this...they werent allowed to play last weekend, 2 weeks b4 the Cork game, yet they are allowed to play this weekend - 7 days before the game..
what are "nonplaying "panel members, im sure over the course of the season, 5-10 players from the bench have been used at some point..

Still think theres plenty of fight left in Kildress, theyve ran Omagh, Kildress & Dromore very close in last few weks and beaten Clonoe away, they are all top teams..would fancy them to stay up..though theyll need to start picking up points

Any reports on the Errigal - Omagh game the other nite? I heard Omagh were going in very depleted for this one..with as many 8 or 9 missing with injuries, and lads on holiday..great point for them, heard Errigal equalised in last minute..

Another good result for omagh yesterday. They seem to be keeping a low profile yet have moved into joint 2nd in Div. 1 I see (albeit ardoe-errigal play tonight). That was an impressive result yesterday and i believe they had 4 or 5 key men missing with co. men and a few others. Could they be potential dark horses? Their definetely a top 4 team at the moment...would they be in the shakeup later in the year? : ::)
