Tyrone were probably the better and worse team. They should have been more clinical and made a good few silly mistakes. Some boys who look they could be players.

Long time lads.....only the 12 years. Hope everyone is well?

Bang on Hokey, some great potential there coupled with some naivety.

Very good use of the mark as well ..

It's a sad day for Mayo football when we are beaten by a shite team like Longford.
Todays result is proof that all is not well in the Mayo camp.
Well done Longford.

Probably the worst "compliment" ever paid on here.

Just spoke aul Boy, who went, he wasn't even surprised, just disappointed , again.

FL/MAYO- dont give up on O'Shea. he was by superb against us in the first minor final in 08, and will be a great. He
minded me of mc Hale, who I used to watch/admire when attending many Mayo games as a kid.

Its another big win for an unfancied county in a game they would never previously have had a chance to play. Back door isn't all bad......

I would think that a good chunk of it will be heading for Casement.

You can imagine the fun and games should they use some of it to put a new cistern in the Gerry Arthur's' ladies loo....

Biggest share of Maze stadium money 'to go the GAA'

Maze stadium plan The multi-sports stadium plan was abandoned

The GAA is to receive the lion's share of money earmarked for the building of a sports stadium on the site of the former Maze prison the BBC understands.

The GAA is thought to be in line for £50m, football £30m and rugby is to receive about £20m.

The Executive has still to sign off on the plans.

However, it is understood they have been approved by the Department of Culture and Leisure.

There are expected to be developments in the next two to three weeks.

The plan is dependent on the Irish Football Association reaching a resolution with Linfield over the running of Windsor Park.

A meeting is being held on Thursday night over that.

A proposal to build a stadium for football, Gaelic football and rugby at the site of the former Maze prison site was abandoned in 2009.

More than £3.5m was paid in consultancy fees for the project before the decision to shelve it.

7 min When Mueller's right-wing cross is headed clear by the Real Madrid centre-back Nemanja Vidic, Podolski, 20 yards out, deliberately slashes across a beautiful left-footed volley that whistles just wide of the near post.

ps as for never getting it back.

You dont need a season ticket anymore. Tickets for all but one or two games are freely available outside the ground and on the forums for not much more than or in many cases, face value. You can pick and choose which games you want.
