To say Mc Donald didnt show up in 04 or 06 is nonsense.He was the ONLY Mayo player to show up in 04 he kicked 2 sublime points
and in 06 he never,not for 1 minute hide even though things werent going right for him.

Ciaran mc Donald and David Brady got worse abuse from so called Mayo FANS than they ever got from another counties supporters.

work rate and wins a savage amount of ball but he dosent score enough and Kilcoynes goal will have him
knocking on the door,although i still think Kilcoyne is better used as an impact sub.

This really is all unbelievable.I am a fan of JOM and i think he is the right man for the job but his handling of this situation really begars belief.The pressure is already starting to come on JOM which i think is unfair,judge him after the championship but he has just handed his critics a massive stick to beat him with.Ciaran has been a fantastic servant to mayo football and its a DISGRACE the way he has been treated.We need supermac if we are to achieve anything this year and JOM has to sort this mess out for the good of Mayo football

I hope this is not the end of the line for Ciaran with Mayo but word around the county is  that it is.If Ciaran was available for selection and JOM didnt make contact it WILL come back to haunt him as we are not exactly blessed with natural scoring forwards and i still think Mc Donald has alot to offer.However if we dont see Ciaran in a mayo shirt again we will have plenty of memories.His 2 points against the kingdom in AIF 2004,his point from the sideline against the dubs and the winning point in that epic semi final were good enough to grace any stage.One of if not the best player we have ever produced and a true gentleman.

Whats the story with Aiden Higgins? Is he still on the panel? I would like to see him tried in the corner against Tyrone with Conroy at fb and maybe Heaney in the other corner.We really need to sort out our fb line and soon were leaking far to many goals.

Ciaran Mc Donalds winning point for Mayo in the all ireland semi final against the Dubs but maybe im just being biased.

I think Wynne should be given a go as mayo fb.I would agree he is not the tallest but i think he is an excellent defender and he is used to playing at fb for his club.Ger Cafferky is being talked up by some to be our next fb and he is not much taller than Wynne.

Whats the problem with this Feeney fella? Does he interfere with team selections training etc...?

I would like to see Howley at wing back and let Higgins and O Malley man the corner back positions.Regarding the no 6 jersey i think Heaney is the man for this position as we have a number of options at midfield and i would hate to see Heaney at fb again.We are in desperate need of a fb and i for one would like to see Ger Cafferky given a shot.Has any fb stood out during the club championship dat could be given a chance?

A good friend of mine is on the Ballina stephenites senior panel and he has told me D Brady will definitley not be back with Mayo next season.
