More decent tickets available now!

doesnt give option for juvenile tickets
am i right in saying that ?

You are. You don't usually get into the hogan with kids tickets. I bought a ticket for me and my wee fella for Limerick v Galway in the hurling and it's restricted to up in the gods in the Cusack or Davin

thats what i usually done, bought them early. but listening to advice on here i decided to wait until better tickets come available.
Which they did, just not for 13 and 14 year olds ! Ah well, RTE it is then.

Could always buy the teenager a full ticket?
If GAA families had the money .....

I don't think GAA families are poorer than any other sport.

I have 1 x Adult & 1 x Juve ticket available for Lower Daven, section 320. Would take less than FV if anyone was stuck for a ticket.

What are the costs in other sports vs GAA though? Especially in a successful county.

Maybe soccer? Part of what you are doing is paying their wages though.

How best should Ciaran McFaul  be used on our Long Kick-outs in the first half as i think as ,TBR has already said, Cork will likely push up on our shorts ?

At half time we (depending on the wind which his always tricky in CP ) we need to have a couple of pts to spare.

Brendan

Derry folk haven't learned their lesson from last year when they panic bought tickets and Facebook was full of people trying to resell them

No comparison was made, or required.

we've quite a few high fielders, Rogers, Glass, McFaul, Mguigan....the two dohertys and McKinless are no slouches either.
If cork do push up, I'd be tempted to squeeze their press. Bring 12 players insider our own 45 and take the kickout over the top of them with acres of space for Mcguigan and co to win their own ball. If Cork drop back a sweeper, we're left with a man free.
Might be a ridiculous idea lol.

We have the players to compete on kickouts to MF even if that's not our first choice.
We'll get some away short I'm sure too.
I'm particularly interested to see how/when Lachlan Murray is used.

Which team has Derry played most outside Ulster?

Do cork have a chance?

I think if Cork had a full deck to pick from they'd have a right crack at it, but Hurley especially is a huge loss. He'd take marking so it makes it easier for Derry. The midfield battle will be one to watch here. Should be good.

Cork the underdogs this time around, but traditionally they are big guns.

Derry definite favourites. There is an aura of champions with this team and we are all part of the journey.

Hurley a loss but it's worth noting he only scored 0-2(1f) against Mayo before going off injured on 55 mins and Cork would go on to outscore Mayo 1-6 to 1-1 to win by 3. Didn't feature at all in their victory against Roscommon.  Cork in the last couple of games had a good spread of scorers, with defenders and subs making big impacts.  One can't underestimate that the last two matches took a lot out of Cork and fresher Derry should be winning probably by closing the game out in the final 15 mins.
