GAA Discussion / rory kav
January 15, 2016, 02:26:23 PM
Rory gallagher said ' It was not that he was ever really gone, he just had a wee break and took time out last year, which was something he wanted to do," Gallagher told the Irish Independent.

Rory Kav said "I spoke with my family and Kathryn after 2012 and then again last year,"

"I was comfortable with that all through and although the season ultimately ended in disappointment having lost the All-Ireland final to Kerry, the decision to stay for one last year is certainly not something I regret."

"I spent a lot of time thinking about my future since and deciding to retire has been the hardest decision I ever had to make."

Someone telling the truth!! ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

GAA Discussion / galway were right

I see Mc Closkey giving out about removal of big joe . Is it because he has lost his big money gig in Galway as opposed to anything else. The galway county board wanted to reduce costs which is fair enough. Like was there a need for 2 trainers! Can u imagine the tin those 2 and joe were on with no return. the talk of 2 /3 year plan is nonsence. Its not like it was a young team. First year should be a strong year. look at down/louth etc. even kildare has decent first years - quarter final/leinster title so you can t say its took them time to develop. Minimum for Galway this year was getting game time in croker and taking on some of the big teams. Sorry but I think any one getting little for there buck are entitled to take stock. As for mc closkey I see hes touting for more work. I thought he was over in wasps as a skills coach. Maybe he would be better sticking to the rugby

GAA Discussion / TYRONE DEFY TRAINING BAN
November 18, 2009, 10:22:08 AM
CAN ANYONE TELL ME ARE COUNTY PLAYERS ALLOWED TO TAKE PART IN TRIALS ORGANISED FOR NOV AND DEC. I DON'T THINK THEY ARE BUT TO MY AMAZEMENT MICKEY HARTE HAD THE MC GUIGANS, SWIFT, CARLIN ALL PLAYING IN HIS TRIAL LAST WEEK. WITH A HEFTY PUNISHMENT FOR THOSE BREAKING THE RULES SURELT THIS IS A BIG RISK ESPECIALLY AS ANY FINANACIAL PENALITIES WILL HIT THE CLUBS AND NOT TYRONE THEMSELVES
