Fair play to Taylor, whatever you say about him he was a great darts player and is determined to go out on a high.

Captain Premature?

Silly Syferus.

Maybe don't hand out the congratulations before the match is over next time?

I wasn't congratulating him. Pointed out he was a great player and is determined to go out on a high. Now stop playing the silly Syferus.

"Fair play to Taylor.."

Silly indeed.

Have to give credit to Taylor.
At 57 years of age and producing to that level is unreal !
The skill in these darts is unreal. Anyone  who plays it will realise that

Not just skill but nerve! Steve Davis said that when his decline started to happen it was due to nerve. He still had the shots just old age had taken his nerve. A Davis was young when this started to happen. This makes Taylor's achievements even more outstanding.

Taylor was shîting himself when Anderson started to hit form. Old school Taylor would have won that one 5-1.

Taylor at 57 years of age WON!!!!
Nothing more needs to be said.

I only have a passing interest in Darts but it's another opportunity for Roscommon's national embarrassment to make a bigger clown of himself.

If the best you can come up with is that the semi-retired 57 year old didn't win by enough he's doing ok I'd suggest. Regardless of what happens now he goes out on a high.

You don't post enough in this thread to embarrass yourself too much, don't worry.

Nice start from Lewis after losing the first two legs. Strange from Taylor not to go back to the 20 to leave him a shot at 170 and gave Lewis six darts to get out from 65.
