No talk about this on the thread http://thehill.com/policy/national-security/355749-fbi-uncovered-russian-bribery-plot-before-obama-administration

This is old news for those that do not suck on the MSM teat.
I can barely see you up there master. Is that really you? I don't pretend to be as learned as you but is it really old news that the Senate Judiciary Committee intends to probe this?

At this point there is no evidence Clinton was involved in decision making (which took place across multiple agencies), which is why it would be a huge story.

But it should be investigated (fairly!), given the allegations about bribery and coercion, no matter how high up the chain the wrongdoing, if any, occurred. If it results in criminal charges, so be it. No one should be above the law.

But, to use the Trump administration's term, when it comes to the Clintons specifically, it will probably turn out to be yet another "nothing burger", as all these GOP Clinton hunts invariably do. The more conspiracy minded will take that as yet more evidence of the Clintons' evil ways, skills and reach. Trump will use it to his advantage no matter what (" never mind my f**k ups, look at crooked Hillary!") while he himself ignores emoluments issues.

Mr. Statistician and forum cop himself. As Mark Twain would say "There are three kinds of lies - lies, damned lies, and statistics."
Says a lot about your credibility. As for the policing attempt, that has given us a deeper look into your character.  Sure you felt you had the backing of the herd, the great unwashed. That too did not go to you liking, the Fox is still around.

So who should investigate this? Robert Mueller? Will they roll back in James Comey the great protector of Her Highness? They both are up to their eyeballs in this. No point in having the Republicans doing the investigation either, all but a few are compromised in other matters and will not upset "The Club".

A proper Independent Council is needed that will not abuse it's power, otherwise this will get litigated and the criminals will get off once again. All we'll get from the blind followers is that "it was litigated, no evidence was found, lets move on".

Speaking of parasites

QuoteLast January, six months after Fox News ousted its chairman amid a sexual harassment scandal, the network's top-rated host at the time, Bill O'Reilly, struck a $32 million agreement with a longtime network analyst to settle new sexual harassment allegations, according to two people briefed on the matter — an extraordinarily large amount for such cases.

Although the deal has not been previously made public, the network's parent company, 21st Century Fox, acknowledges that it was aware of the woman's complaints about Mr. O'Reilly. They included allegations of repeated harassment, a nonconsensual sexual relationship and the sending of gay pornography and other sexually explicit material to her, according to the people briefed on the matter.

It was at least the sixth agreement — and by far the largest — made by either Mr. O'Reilly or the company to settle harassment allegations against him. Despite that record, 21st Century Fox began contract negotiations with Mr. O'Reilly, and in February granted him a four-year extension that paid $25 million a year.

Interviews with people familiar with the settlement, and documents obtained by The New York Times, show how the company tried and ultimately failed to contain the second wave of a sexual harassment crisis that initially burst into public view the previous summer and cost the Fox News chairman, Roger Ailes, and eventually Mr. O'Reilly, their jobs.

So yet again it appears that the focus in what Trump says/does is taking the eye away from the real story. This time the noise and attention is on what he said or did not say to the widow of a soldier killed in Africa. The teal story appears to be how he was killed, Trumps Benghazi, as I have seen it described.
Any reports into the ambush seem to be painting to a lack of Intel, a lack of support and the incompetence of subcontracted private sector support resulting in a soldier being left behind. However the story is the conversation.

Well, Trump's biggest Pastor supporter from the Christian Evangilical has stated that Catholicism is a Cult.

Pastor Robert Jeffress, who Trump just the other day tweeted about the other day as " a wondeful man!", has stated that Satan Created the Catholic Church.

Jefress is one of many Protestant ministers who preach the Catholic Church is of Satan, I have heard it myself at a Baptist Church I was invited to by a pastor Friend from England, he was mortified when one of his ministers condemned the Catholic Church for a good fifteen minutes, he apologised to us up and down but we never went back and the pastor was told he was an ill informed liar and a charlatan, it happens at most if not all protestant places of worship in the US.
