Went for outsider Mrmcgoldrick.

Brilliant run from him.

It's a tough ould job when you look at what AP has been through today. So here's a gratuitous swipe at pampered, poncy soccer stars, just for the sake of it.

Always up for that Hardy...no metatarsals in horse racing!!

Didn't see the race, on the BBc website updates he was mentioned as being close so knew I had a sweat.  Few quid back from a bad day SO FAR!

Well said about AP, these lads have some bravery.

What about that p***k McCrirrick's comments about Brian McConnell?  Ted Walsh called him an idiot!

Sunnyhill boy gave us a good run for the money, back to where I was at the start of the day. Think I'll have a punt on Nina in the last

I swear to God them jockeys are brave as lions, but they must be soft in the head as well. Holy bejaysus, AP took a savage fall in the first, the lad is hardly able to walk, never mind trying to control a lunatic animal as well.

Animals, and I don't mean the horses.

Ballabriggs takes the last at 9/1, thank god today is over.  Regroup for tomorrow!

Great stuff from Ted. Is there a more articulate pundit in any sphere, never mind any sport? I can't think how it would be possible to word a put-down better than that.

That odious p***k McCririck is nothing but a bad clown, as Ted suggests, and of course should be ignored. But it would still be hard to stop yourself giving him a root in the hole if you were within radius, for some of the offensive crap he spouts. He was on Geoge Hook's programme the other evening bad mouthing Ireland and the Irish. Among the shite he spewed was that he and the British and German taxpayer were happy to see Ireland getting it in the neck now, since they had freeloaded on Europe for years. He also whinged about anti-English feeling in Ireland, DeValera's condolences on Hitler's death and Ireland's "betrayal" of the UK during the war. On top of all that, he managed to get in his opinion that Ireland's dominant position in racing was based on tax breaks paid for by him and other European taxpayers and finished off with the statement that the Irish liked their leisure and were work shy, unlike the "industrious" British.

A thoroughly hateful piece of shit.

Shamrock Shore

How "female" doesn't bash his shins every time he says "female" I'll never know.

A knob-end of the highest order.

As I dream about movies they won't make of me when I'm dead

Two tips:

1- Hardy, you have to go with Meath All Star (or maybe not)

2- The county hurdle is a feckin blood bath

Secant Star, well fancied in the board tipping competition, is a NR in the 1:30 (along with Bob's Legend) :-\

Will any of the other horses feature in the Gold cup, or is it really a two horse race?

Well some horse has to come third, Cooldine seems to be drifting a bit in early betting soTricky Trickster might be worth an e/w look at 12/1??  However look at my performance in the tipping comp and take a huge dose of salt!!
