Will this spell of bad weather have upset trainers plans for Cheltenham? It can't have help those training in the areas worst affected.

Depending on the severity of the freezing conditions i couldnt imagine a whole pile of work being carried out by too many trainers.
I know i couldnt bring out any of my horses for fear of them falling and injuring themselves badly.
Some of the larger known might have all weather facilities but for most of the smaller ones wouldnt have been able to do alot.
However in terms of cheltenham preparations i couldnt see it having a major negative for any hopefuls as there is plenty of time between now and then to catch up to what condition trainers want their horses.

:D

Reminds me of the time Johnny Murtagh punched Pat Smullen after passing the winning post at Leopardstown a few years back.

Its no surprise them American lads have a bit of a temper. It must be fierce boring riding the exact same track over and over again.
There's Seán Brady going in, what dya think Seán?

Similar incident from Tramore a few years back. Watch about ten strides before they hit the line. I'd say Russell was feeling his arse for a few days!

How are the ante-post books looking for Cheltenham lads?

I'm sitting pretty on Captain Cee Bee for the Arkle at 25s.
Speculative few euro on Mikael D'Haguenet for the Champion Hurdle at 42 on Betfair, he's drifted out to 75 now though.
Backed Finnians Rainbow at 16s for the Ballymore.
