I'm planning to have a look over the weekend. I think Maddog has a set of stats for it too. The stats are a pretty good guide - delivered Niche Market a few years ago and Lion Na Bearnai last year.

Good man. Pipe's horse at the top of the weights makes it a very interesting race. Plenty of novices are running off potentially lenient marks.

That's unreal, sorry to hear this after watching that fall, I'm sure you never meant that pun on the end

Hadn't noticed that Milltown - Cheers

It's the news everyone was expecting but it's still hard to take. John Thomas was always one of the hardiest riders around. He must have suffered hundreds of falls in all his years riding on the p2p circuit.

Desperate news about JT McNamara. It seems so cruel that a sport we all love can have such consequences.

Shockingly sad end to Cheltenham for JT.

Tragic.

I've been looking at Jadanli. Handicap has worked out perfectly as it doesn't have to concede weight to the 12 or so horses below it in the list. Stats wise, age is the major issue but it won a Powers Gold Cup at the meeting 3 years ago and seems to have returned to reasonable heart this term. A hard race at Cheltenham another possible negative.

Horrible news about JT McNamara, with the amount of spills and half ton horses rolling over jockeys its a miracle serious injuries dont happen more often.
