Just watched that race in the bookies and Be won it easy with Silverburn struggling 6F out...I was gonna back Be untill it went to 5/2, if i'd have got up earlier it was 4/1

If you snooze you loose!!!

Clown

i can say thats me finished with backing silverburn.
one of those horses that always goes off as favourite due to a good win in a grade 1 a few years ago, but rarely delivers

is ruby still waiting on his first win since his injury?

Homer

Ruby had a winner on his second day back with Scotsirish

Minus commission if it wins...

Kauto still available at 6/4 with Stan James, Victor Chandler and various other bookeis...

Was shopping there, got myself a little present, Mick Fitzgeralds autobiography, should be a good read

Though I still can't fogive him for Amaretto Rose in the Supreme Novices when I had my biggest bet ever at the time on him!

You can get it at 2.64 less commission, still better than 5/4 unless you are going big nail
But you wouldnt want to spoil Boxing Day if it loses by going big ;)

ill be down to see you some day soon about that bet Nail...What about the going Nail? what sort of going will Kauto like and dislike so i'll know...I'm seriously thinking about slapping £200 on her to get me a tasty £300 back...Sounds better than any football bet that you'll be looking to get £300 bills of it...

Kauto goes best on good to soft ground, heading towards good ground... Kauto is more of a class horse ompared to the likes of Denman who would love a bit of cut in the ground...

Last couple of years the going as been good to soft which it probably will be again, unless there is torrential rain an all in the mean time, which you cannot rule out... Even then on soft going, Kauto should still do it, if I remember correctly the going was soft at Down Royal there in November when he won very easy...
