Albert lee proving that electric guitar excellence doesn't have to be "Rock". Along with Chet Atkins he shows that country music can produce guitar music of the highest quality.

I always felt a kind of validation when he liked the music I liked.

The older I get my appreciation of story songs increases. Richard Thompson is as good as they come, and he can make that Downpatrick made guitar sing
