Captain Obvious

Doesn't say much for Arsenal when even Everton can get a new manager bounce.

Better to be part of the community than boarding up their houses

2 points dropped against a poor United team

Sick and tired of these small time managers

Ambrose

I think if Ancelotti joins they will win the title within 3 years.....

.....if not they'll go up via the play-offs.
You can't live off history and tradition forever

Big Dunc needs to brush up on his man management skills.  Ancellotti is a great manager but would he have the hunger and drive for this job?
That's just, like your opinion man.

Everton showing more ambition than Arsenal?

An excellent manager of the appointment is confirmed but the reality is that this is not a great squad that he is inheriting. Despite spending £500m there are a lot of bang average players on the Everton team. 3-4 of the starting team against United are post 30. Pickford is disaster. Richarlison is good on his day but very hot and cold. There needs to be major investment in the squad. Ancelotti is used to going into strong squad and improving them. Can he do an Italian Sam Allardyce?

The likes of Coleman and Baines are definitely on the wane but there are good replacements in the pipeline, it's just that there's been a poor run of injuries especially to midfielders, the likes of Gomez, Delph, Schneiderlin (who I don't rate) and Gbamin who we've seen very little off but is highly rated.

All in, it's a pretty young squad to work with.

"Its understood Ancelotti is keen to get started straight away in order to attempt to reduce the 31 (thirty-one) point gap that exists between them and rivals Liverpool" 😉

In seriousness, great appointment if confirmed. Huge investment needed as bcb1 says. Must be gonna come, cant see him taking the job otherwise. Exciting times..

Everton have invested rightly.  It's time they got someone in who can spend it wisely.  Some very weird decisions in previous transfer windows.

Everton haven't beaten Liverpool in 20 years. Ancelotti only manager to beat Liverpool this season.......
Everton approach Ancelotti just in time for the FA Cup game..

Coincidence???
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.
