RIP. That was a dark day in Ireland's recent history

The glasses did it for me...

Couple of All Black's wingers gone in the Past few days, the first big rampaging wing, Va,aiga Tuigamala 52, and Fiji Joeli Vidiri 48.

Substandard

Hadn't seen nor heard in the news about Tuigamala, sad to hear that at such a young age.  I remember thinking when he played for the All Blacks what an intimidating looking opponent he must have been.  Both he and Lomu were monsters, after watching rugby as a child through the 80s when wingers used to be light speed merchants,  these lads were something to behold.  Sad to think they are both gone, as are several more names I would have grown up watching.

Seems to be a lot of very famous rugby players dying well before their time

Inga Tuigamala 52 - Samoan born All Black
Joeli Vidiri 48 - Fijian born All Black
Jerry Collins 35 - Samoan born All Black
Jonah Lomu 40 - NZ born All Black with Tongan heritage
Sionne Lauaki - 36 - Tongan born All Black

The above are all from South Pacific Island heritage.  Is lower life expectancy common in those countries?

Flamboyant doesn't do him justice. He was unbelievable. One of the greatest. RIP
