What the hell do Offaly be at?
Must say I'm delighted for Kilkenny. Seems to be a lot of discontent in London, poor turnouts etc, they might struggle to come back next year.

Sure Offaly are already promoted, so the game didn't really matter to them.  Congratulations to Kilkenny - that's good to see.

Dunning says lack of facilities not helping cause
13 April 2008

London football boss Noel Dunning says making the most of scarce resources continues to be the name of the game for the Exiles.

Speaking ahead of his side's NFL clash with Kilkenny at Nowlan Park today (Sunday), Dunning says preparations for the game haven't been helped by the paucity of the facilities available across the water.

"We had to use the centre of a running track until Tuesday night," Dunning explained.

"We used the grass area in the middle of the athletic field, there were no goal posts.

"Getting facilities is hard - we can't use Ruislip because there are no floodlights and anyway they wouldn't let us use the pitch because of all the wear and tear so that we have to make do with what we can wherever we find it."

anyone else think the if the GAA are serious of promoting the GAA abroad, they should build London some proper facilities.
Congrats to Kilkenny though  :)

Out ofinterest, does anyone know what odds Kilkenny would have been for that game?

Where's Dessie, Donal Og, et al now? If the GPA were serious about winning over the ordinary GAA member, then here is a case that is standing out, amongst others
