FT Donegal 1-7 Cork 0-6.

Donegal came back well after Cork edged ahead early in the second half, keeping them scoreless for the last 25 minutes. McFadden did well but very rusty in terms of shooting, Murphy, Lacey and Neil Gallagher played very well.

Not dead yet!  ;D

lovely.

Ciaran Kilkenny is some talent is he going to play for Dublin's U-21 hurlers as well?
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Poor showing from Longford after they reached the Leinster final last year. Dublin U-21 All Ireland favorites after tonight?

Good late fight back by Longford, Offaly beat a highly fancied Kildare.

Great win again for our lads. Delighted with that. They are a ray of light at the moment, long may it continue.

Firstly congrats to Offaly, deserved winners and in Anton O'Sullivan they have a class act, best player on the pitch by a mile but after seen a cracking game Saturday night this was one of the worst games I have seen in a long time. Offaly played a blanket defence and Kildare were clueless in how to break it down, although at one stage in the second half it was ridiculous as Offaly had 15 players in the their own and with Gracefield been a tight pitch there was literally no space. Anyhow Offaly had the right game plan, Kildare had no game plan expect pull and drag out of O'Sullivan, Alan Barry should never have been allowed stay on this year. The two wing backs and full forward for Offaly also did very well, you would expect they should make the final but Dublin look formidable.

They were both U-21 and minor favourites at various stages last year (or close enough to it early on) and ended up winning neither. Long way to go yet.

Not sure about Dublin U-21s i think Cork were odds on after beating Kerry by 20 points. Dublin minors certainly some pundits were saying it was the best minor team ever & in the end they were lucky to beat your lads.

Another game made a mess of by the referee in Carlow last night, it was blind luck someone didn't get two yellows he was throwing around that many of them. Not a great Carlow team if I'm honest and their full back going off injured in the first half didn't help matters. They dominated us in the middle in the first half and if we play like that for 5 minutes against Dublin they will blow us out of the water, a lot of dirty diesel blown out. Second half to be fair was much improved, which was probably helped by the ref relaxing on the reins. Heslin has to start out the field the next day as he offers far more out there than on the edge of the square. His point off the left under pressure from the 40 was worth the steep entrance fee (there was a lot of lads watching through the wire as a result). Callum McCormack did well also and was unlucky with a couple of efforts. Ger Egan surprisingly quiet but is only back from injury and will improve with match fitness, they should give him another run out Sat night.

The backs did ok, again weren't helped by Mary Poppins in the middle, Davy Gavin was booked for having the temerity to run with his marker for a ball, heaven help us. I despair every time I look at a program nowadays when I don't recognise the name and he looks about 30.

I presume the game will be in Navan the next day, we're gonna need everyone to click if we want to put it up to the Dubs, 24 points is some winning margin against Laois although they were poor last year so obviously things haven't improved since. What's going on there anyway, if it was Kilkenny Joe would be on the case today?
