Dromid Pearses beat Kanturk from Cork in the other Munster junior semi final. Tough on Kanturk who had to play their Cork final on Friday night, and then this game today, which was played in Dromid. And it went to extra time! That's tough duty for a junior team.

Dromid versus Kildangan now in the Munster Final. If there's such a thing as David v Goliath in this level, this is surely it.

Men against boys in Navan yesterday. Brigids won by 10 points and it could have been 20

Heard that Dec, believe there was no one really outstanding for Brigids either, just a good solid team display. Should be a right good game in the semi final provided themselves and Portlaoise make it through.

Good win for Garrycastle yesterday, another Westmeath trouncing of the Slashers, 4-11 to 1-06. That will do nothing for Garrycastle though in the semi final against more than likely Athy. Hard to improve the intensity levels after a one sided affair, hope they can scrape through.

Yes. Kildangan are up against it in a big way against Dromid Pearses.  I think they have a home draw, but it is hard to see them being able to contain Declan O'Sullivan & co.  Still they have done very well to reach the provincial final.  Edit.  I see from the Munster GAA Website that the game is fixed for Moyvane, Co. Kerry, making Kildangan's already difficult task a good deal harder.
