Some display by Darragh kavanagh yesterday. Kicked 1-13. Would have been interesting to see him get a bit of county football to see if he up to it.
As the old story goes. Im sure the next time Tyrone are playing Greencastle they will give Darragh a call..

As predictable as ever someone would trot out with this line.  Has Canavan Junior did much in his young career so far to warrant his trial in the McKenna Cup/in the panel?  A few excellent u17 performances and a good late D1 league campaign - wouldnt have the biggest physique either -

as a side note I think that he isnt built for County football argument is one of the stupidest about.  Eoin Murchan from Dublin is 5 foot 6 and maybe 10 or 11 stone ffs and looked more than capable in the 2 games Tyrone played against Dublin last year - in fact his absolutely roasted sludden (who had arguable been Tyrone player of the campaign up to the Super 8 stages) in the game in healy park

My point was that he doesn't have the size or physical presence to play the way he plays as an out and out inside scoring forward. He wouldn't count in the inter-county game, he would be easily tamed in my opinion.

would the same be true then for Canavan Jnr?

What's the point of a gas barbecue - i.e. a gas cooker outdoors?

You are still flame grilling, and you can add woodchips for the smokey smell. they're cleaner, quicker and easier to control temperature. I've had both, I love barbecues. With the wood chips in a burner adding smoke and smell, I think gas barbecues are just handier.

Love a BBQ in the evenings have had it out this 3 weeks now and used it 7/8 times at this stage.

100% agree with you AZ they're so much handier than a coal BBQ and still a great taste without the wait for a coal BBQ.

Anybody got any particular specialties?? We'd do steak/burgers/chicken/sausages but wouldn't mind trying something a bit different any recipe's tips would be very welcome!
Marinated venison steaks can be fantastic
Veg skewers. Peppers, mushrooms, onions
Pork skewers with a sweet marinade
Pork belly
Salmon wrapped in tin foil

Corn on the cob and asparagus tasty on bbq as well.  Top quality butcher for the meat is hard to beat as well.  Had first one of year over the Easter weekend with the good weather..went to McCartneys butchers in moira..award winning Sausages were class....gin and tonic sausages as well  :)

Those Big Green Egg ones are meant to be some job.  I know that's what they use in James Street South in Belfast for the bbq cookery school lesson.  I think brand new they could be more expensive than £500 but you might get deal on Ebay or somewhere.

Thought Endgame was excellent - really well done.  Majority of the cinema clapping at the end at the showing I went too

I have never seen this happen in any cinema, for any film. I assumed it was only done after the red carpet first showing in London or wherever.

Same - I guess because it one of the first screenings would be a lot of hardcore fans there - whilst not clapping myself I did really enjoy the film - reading a few spoiler threads on train to work this morning and reading a lot of people in theaters in America and elsewhere talking about the whole cinema clapping at a few different points in the film

Might be an immobiliser issue, when it doesn't start try locking and unlocking it with the key fob and trying to start it again.

Never thought of that - will keep that in mind for the next time it happens and see if it makes any difference

I have a 2007 Diesel Vauxhall Astra - last few weeks there is an intermittent issue where is wont start.  Engine turns over but wont start.  Go back to it an hour or 2 later and it then starts fine.  When it wont start - I tried jump leads on it and it still doesn't start.  As I say I could drive it for 2 miles and then park at shop and it wont start - or I could drive it 40 miles and then stop it and it wont start.  But also very intermittent - it maybe do a run to shops and back and another errand somewhere and will have been stopped and started 6 times in a row and then out of nowhere it wont start - but then leave it for the hour or two and it will start no problem.

I recently got it services and told the mechanic about it as it was happening pre-service - he said he could see nothing obvious with it looking over it and he changed oil and fuel filters, checked the battery and alternator.

Any mechanics on here any idea what the cause could be - would it possibly be the fuel pump not working correctly?

How do people watch this shite? The teletubbies provide more entertainment.

Have you watched it all?  Sure stick to teletubbies for your entertainment.

Brilliant from Woods, amazing comeback.  Just confirmed to me that he is the Greatest.  No harm to Muhammad Ali

Not to begrudge Woods his win but people spouting pure dung would sure sicken a man's shit.  Tiger isn't even the greatest golfer ever ffs.

He's a far better golfer than Ali was a boxer. Woods, by any metric, is at least second best to Nicklaus. It's debatable if Ali was even best heavyweight.

How about number of pga titles - is he second best to Nicklaus in that metric - ill give you the answer - no.  He is currently 1 title behind Snead record of 82

Rorys irons all over the place. Very poor shots 10, 11, 13, 14 most of them from position A off the tee. For a guy from Ireland he doesnt seem to like the drizzle much

For once, it wasn't really his putting that let him down; made a few good clutch putts and was unlucky with a few. What happened when his ball ended up in the cart at 15? Did he get a free drop?

Was wondering that about 15 as well.  It showes the drive into cart.  Then a pitch out go fairway..shit to 10 feet and the outt but down as a 5 on scorecard.  I checked the track player option on.the masters sute (class feature as a side note) but couldn't really figure out from it where the penalty shot occured.

In for a fantastic weekend though with about 15players in with a great shout and a leaderboard packed with quality.  I would say rory chance gone for this year..he may well shoot a low one tomorrow but too many.high quality playere ahead off him..you would think 12 or 13 under will be leading come end of round 3 so even shooting a 65 which would be equal low round of the week would be 6 back with 18 to play and he also hasn't looked like shooting near a 65.

Disappointing for Shane as well to miss the cut..form has been poor though since the win in Jan.

A great sporting spectacle - be really tempted to go over to it next year - those your gold travel deals for it always seem like a decent enough deal.  Will stick on a few punts for it - will prob back Biffo and Rory and then maybe one or two others - maybe Leishman/Matsuyama or Adam Scott for three that will be slightly higher odds
