Didnít see the game but was the TD in question not a 75yd TD? Canít imagine them just giving up a TD from that distance, fair enough from 5 yds out maybe. Good luck to anyone chasing Tyreek Hill, not sure I have ever seen a faster player

Ballycastle pitch in gutters & camogie blitz not helping the surface;

Will be tough underfoot for tomorrow

Yeah but Antrim playing so late in the year (in both codes) has meant there was no way we could have had our championship wrapped up any earlier in the year

Rossa best Cushendall in the fiele final last year, canít remember the score line but it was a fairly wide margin.  That same Cushendall were very strong in North Antrim!
Maybe thatís why he has that large wedge of lemon lodged in his gob.

Challenge is to get through that the feile isnt the end goal and to get the lads to stick at it past this and through the ranks upwards. Obviously challenges are greater for this for Belfast clubs traditionally, but it needs to happen regardless to get Rossa and other clubs back to competing regularly for senior honours.

Rossa's underage success over a significant number of years was purely down to clever poaching, manipulation in relation to transfers and sanctions.  The winning factor was the carrot and guaranteed trips to Feile.  I'd say over the past twenty years, you'll probably not find a more successful hurling club at underage level.  Only 1 senior Championship in 20 years tells its own story.
But they are the only club in Belfast to win a senior hurling championship since the early seventies. And as regards player poaching, all the big clubs poach off small clubs. Plenty of juvenile hurlers from Armoy, Cushendun and Carey playing for Cushendall, Ballycastle and Glenariffe, Even Loughgiel with their pick have pinched the odd hurler from Armoy over the years :)

Didnít know Glenariffe were a big club

This is well worth a read, transcript from a lecture given by Sir Ivan Rogers, former UK permanent representative to the EU.

https://share.trin.cam.ac.uk/sites/public/Comms/Rogers_brexit_as_revolution.pdf

Started reading All Out War by Tim Shipman the other day and he mentions Rogers as intelligent, learned and knew what he was at, so obviously the government didnít want anything to do with him

What I don't understand is why the players needed to get involved with a few lads laying on a few slaps.

Fair play the No.20 from Downpatrick stayed on the pitch and didnít look to get involved.

Itís an awful indictment that you have to commend someone for not getting involved in a fight.

No doubt his team mates probably have him down as a yella b**tard

Slightly better 2nd half with a few shots on target. Poor by Pep to take off Aguero the first choice penalty taker. Manchester City's long wait for win in Anfield goes on a real bogey ground for them.  Four games in a row without a win for Liverpool however they should get back to winning ways as in the next month they are playing a number of rubbish sides.

So just keep him on incase there is a penalty ??
