I think mist and fog always looks far worse in TV and pics than live.

Personally I think it's a great way, finish on the day. The way I see it you could argue that a team that get through via a replay could come up against a team that never needed a second chance on their way to a final and beat them by bit of luck or whatever. You have your chance on the day to put a team away and if you don't you take the lotto of penalties which you still have control over. I think it's extremely fair.

Quote from: tbrick18 on November 24, 2023, 02:39:36 PMPanorama last night about the missing children in Ukraine. The motive is clear, it's a standard play in ethnic cleansing
Seems to be a concerted effort by Russia at the highest level to "re-locate" children from Ukraine into Russia. Difficult to understand the motive behind that.
Also some of the propaganda on Russian media about the Ukrainian state selling children's organs into Europe was just bonkers.
Really heart-breaking stuff in general....albeit a completely 1 sided view of the story, however, it's difficult to see any justification for any of what was covered.

Ireland was one of 4 countries that prevented the EU from cutting humanitarian aid to the Palestinians. History really matters in situations like now.
A vile disgusting human being. We're seeing a lot of those lately with their support for Israel.

Is this happening throughout Britain or what? The election of Israel flags on government buildings I mean , not the taking down
Quote from: Milltown Row2 on October 11, 2023, 11:08:12 PMIt's a valid point MR,and one that everyone should be aware of. There is no doubt about it that the way BBC presents their articles is to favour the state position. Anyone from here should be able to see that easily. There is always plenty of examples relating to the past here.Quote from: PadraicHenryPearse on October 11, 2023, 11:01:49 PMQuote from: bennydorano on October 11, 2023, 10:46:47 PMBBC News - Why BBC doesn't call Hamas militants 'terrorists' - John Simpson

Strange, doesn't chime with a lot of posts on here.
Did you read the part of the article where they don't use that language but they have guests on that can use it, it just not their voice. There are worst media outlets for sure.
You'd prefer censorship then?
