Quote from: Rossfan on May 20, 2024, 11:17:06 PMWell done the neighbours.
Didn't they bate Dublin in the Group stage as well?

They did last month, which was Longfords first U17/U18 win against Dublin for 22 years.

Quote from: From the Bunker on May 19, 2024, 06:52:32 PMPep has a new Manager in Arteta to burn off every season. And eventually burn out!

Arsen stayed the pace... these young managers struggle nowadays

Arséne won his first title with 78 points. He would have finished 4th in this years League.

We see it with most sports even in GAA now with group formats or leagues. The less points gained to top the table the more competitive that competition has been.  Arsenal much improved from the side Arteta managed in his first few seasons but the current Arsenal team in talent and overall quality wouldn't be as good as that Arsenal team in 1997/98 with players such as Seaman,Dixon,Adams,Vieria,Bergkamp.

A hatrick and all fine goals.

A perfect way for Cork to finish off that half.

FT Tyrone 1-20 Kerry 1-14.  Tyrone's 2nd U20 All-Ireland title in three years. Wait goes on for Kerry it's 2008 since they won U20/21 All-Ireland.
#13
43 minutes played Kerry hanging in there thanks to how wasteful Tyrone have been including two goal line clearances a few moments ago. 1-11 to 0-11.
#14
Half time Tyrone 1-8 Kerry 0-7

Tyrone good value for that lead. A good former defender and current manager in Tomás O Sé will have to improve Kerry defensively 2nd half to stand a chance of winning this final.

Half time stats

After 15 minutes Tyrone 1-4 Kerry 0-4. Lucky deflection on the goal but a good run through by the defender Joey Clarke. 2nd goal chance for Tyrone off the foot of the post now.
