Watched a decent bit of the redzone coverage last night.  The one the lad didn't catch for the Lions to win it was horrific.

Kittle's knee went the wrong direction and still came out for the 2nd half.  I'd be amazed if there isn't damage there.

Clippers out to the Nuggets...you would have to think it's Lebrons title now. Not enough scorers left in the teams. Murray and Jokic would need to score over 70 between them, probably more to stand a chance. Don't see enough in the East to put up a fight.

Don't write off Miami ... they are scorcing hot at the moment.

Week 1 was relatively quiet but week 2 has been awful. Players haven't had a proper preseason...this was bound to happen.

Gayle Sayers, The Kansas Comet, running back for Chicago Bears passed at the age of 77.

If you never seen the movie Brian's Song, watch it!

It is about the relationship between Bear's teammates Brian Piccolo and Gayle Sayers during the 60's in the turbulent race segregration of the US.
Warning it is a tear jerker.

Sad news. A legend. Haven't seen the movie but am familiar with the story.

Great movie alright ! The playing surface in NY is under severe pressure this week, Niners lost Bosa and Solomon Thomas for the year , and have to play on the same field again this weeks v the Giants. Players and coaches complaining about the surface before last sundays game.
A few coaches will already be under pressure for their jobs. Gase looks like a dead man walking in NY, Dan Quinn could be in diff's as well, as could Bill O'Brien. Patriots could have won that game sunday night against the Seahawks, terrible call on that last play .. Russell Wilson is a fantastic player.....

gallsman

Don't think it was a terrible call at all. Seattle hadn't been able to stop then all night and Cam is one of the greatest goal line threats in NFL history. Was just a good stop is all.

Any defence of Trubisky these days Seanie?

cadhlancian

some good games today. Russell Wilson is playing at a different level right now! The Pats are legit , they play KC on the road next week, should be a cracker. Dan Quinn and Adam Gase wont sleep well tonight. That could be trubiskey finished in Chicago.

The Vikings lost out narrowly to the Titans at the weekend but the real bad news is the Titans were infected with the plague throwing the Vikings and Titans next games into doubt. 3 Titans players and 5 officials have tested positive for covid 19.

The good news for the Vikings at the weekend was the breakout  performance of wide receiver Justin Jefferson. He had 175 yards receivng and a touchdown. He looks like the real deal. I am picking him up in fantasy football where I can.

Hmmmm. One of the best backup QB's in the league?  ;D

When was the last time a team started 3-0 and the QB got benched?

Joking aside what he has produced hasn't been good enough. First game of the season I thought he looked a bit better but overall he just seems to play with the handbrake on. When Foles came in it was obvious he was playing with more freedom. I'm not convinced Foles is more talented but he's more decisive and confident. Bears aren't a great team by any means but will stay in a lot games due to good defense.
